Futures contracts are "marked to market" each day; that is to say, if the value of the futures contract changes as a result of a day's trading, the customer's margin account is adjusted to reflect that change. If the value of the position rises, money is paid into the margin account. If the value of the position falls, money is withdrawn from the account to cover the amount of the decline. If the net margin deposit falls below the maintenance margin level, the customer is required to deposit extra money to cover the loss and bring the total amount on deposit back to the original level. 1, record 6, English, - marked%20to%20market

The New York Mercantile Exchange(NYMEX) is the world's largest physical commodity futures exchange located in New York City. Its two principal divisions are the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Commodities Exchange(COMEX) which were once independent companies but are now merged. The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. is currently a large private company. The New York Mercantile Exchange handles billions of dollars worth of energy products, metals, and other commodities being bought and sold on the trading floor and the overnight electronic trading computer system. The prices quoted for transactions on the exchange are the basis for prices that people pay for throughout the world. In 1933, the COMEX was established through the merger of four smaller exchanges : the National Metal Exchange, the Rubber Exchange of New York, the National Raw Silk Exchange, and the New York Hide Exchange. On august 3, 1994, the NYMEX and COMEX finally merged under the NYMEX. Now, the NYMEX operates in a state of the art trading facility and office building with two trading floors in the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan. 3, record 10, English, - New%20York%20Mercantile%20Exchange

La Bourse européenne du carbone est entièrement électronique. Y seront vendus et achetés des droits d'émettre du CO2 et cinq autres gaz à effet de serre. Futures trading benefits the grain industry in several ways. If primary elevator operators could not avoid the risk of price fluctuations by hedging, banks would charge them more interest on money borrowed to pay producers for grain. They would need wider profit margins, between the price paid to producers and their selling price, to cover the risk of price declines and the higher credit costs. Exporters would need wider profit margins on their sales to cover storage costs or possible price increases between sales and delivery. Processors would have to increase their prices to cover the risk of fluctuating grain costs. 1, record 23, English, - fluctuating%20grain%20costs

1, record 23, French, - fluctuation%20des%20cours%20du%20grain

Futures contracts are "marked to market" each day; i. e., if the value of the futures contract changes as a result of a day's trading, the customer's margin account is adjusted to reflect that change. 1, record 25, English, - paid%20into%20the%20margin%20account

The Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange, Inc., known initially as the Coffee Exchange of the City of New York, was founded in 1882. The Exchange was formed by a group of coffee merchants who wished to avoid the risk of a cash market collapse by organizing a market for trading in coffee futures. In 1914, the Coffee Exchange expanded to include futures in sugar, and, in 1916, it became the New York Coffee and Sugar Exchange, Inc. On September 28, 1979, the New York Cocoa Exchange, Inc., which had been in existence since 1925, was officially merged into the Coffee and Sugar Exchange, and the name Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange, Inc. was adopted. 2, record 36, English, - Coffee%2C%20Sugar%20%26%20Cocoa%20Exchange%2C%20Inc%2E
