Concentrations of chemicals in water are typically measured in units of the mass of chemical(milligrams, mg or micrograms, µg) per volume of water(liter, L, l). Concentrations in water can also be expressed as parts per million(ppm) or parts per billion(ppb).... Occasionally, concentrations of chemicals in water may be written as grams per cubic meter(g/m³). This is the same as grams per 1, 000 liters, which may be converted to milligrams per liter(mg/L). Therefore, 1 g/m³=1 mg/L=1 ppm. 1, record 6, English, - gram%20per%20cubic%20metre

Masse surfacique. 2, record 13, French, - masse%20surfacique

In "Plans and The Structure of Behavior"(1960), G. Miller, K. Pribram and E. Galanter called for a cybernetic approach to behavior in terms of actions, feedback loops, and readjustments of actions in the light of feedback. To replace the reflex arc, they proposed a unit of activity called a TOTE unit(for "Test-Operate-Test-Exit") : an important property of a TOTE unit was that is could itself be embedded within the hierarchical structure of an encompassing TOTE unit. As a vehicle for conceptualizing such TOTE units, the authors selected the computer with its programs. 1, record 14, English, - Test%2DOperate%2DTest%2DExit
