Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Slight nuance between the English terms "rally" and "exchange". In a "rally", the ball must bounce; the term implies an "exchange" of groundstrokes. One can have an "exchange" of any type of shot, for instance, an exchange of volleys, where the ball never touches the ground. Moreover an "exchange" takes place between points; whereas a "rally" can take place between players simply wanting to hit a few balls without keeping score. In Spanish the term "intercambio" is generic. Therefore it means either "rally" or "exchange", depending on the context - "un intercambio de voleas de cerca, un intercambio de golpes de revés". Furthermore, one can use the term "exchange" in English when referring specifically to the length of a rally, i.e. the number of consecutive balls that pass over the net, as in the phrase "At Wimbledon, there were nary an exchange that exceeded 4 shots". 3, record 1, English, - rally

The anti-clutter sea control is often referred to as STC(Sensitivity Time Control) which decreases the amplification of the receiver immediately after a radar pulse is transmitted, and progressively increases the sensitivity as the range increases. A common mistake is to over adjust the A/C SEA control so that the surface clutter is completely removed. By rotating the control fully clockwise, you see how dangerous this can be; a dark zone is created near the center of the screen and close-in targets can be lost. This dark zone is even more dangerous if the gain has not been properly adjusted. Always leave a little surface clutter visible on the screen. If no surface clutter is observed(on very calm water), set the control at the fully counterclockwise position. 3, record 2, English, - anti%2Dclutter%20sea%20control

Project Management Practice Standard-Section 3. 3. 5-Concept Design : in some instances, where projects are small or consist of engineered works(where preliminary studies have already been done), this sub-phase may be combined with 3. 3. 6 Design Development. However, where the project is large, complex or unique the Project Team may decide that it is more efficient and economical to discuss the merits of various design options, while the design is still in conceptual form. In the latter case, the objective of this sub-phase is to conceptually define the design concept and the class C cost estimate, and then to gain client and RPS approval prior to instructing the designers to develop a more refined design. Although the consultant and client may communicate directly, the Project Manager must manage the communication flow to control project commitments and to ensure that there is full understanding by both parties. This involves helping the client to analyze and to evaluate the consultant's enquiries, and then responding to the consultant in technical terms which satisfy specific design conditions. Once the consultant has fulfilled the requirement for submissions as specified in the Project Brief, and the client, the project team, the regulatory authorities and the RPS design authorities have accepted the final concept, the Project Manager ensures adequate documentation of these positions in a Conceptual Design Report. This report is formally signed off by all Project Team members. Thus, this sub-phase is completed when the Project Manager is convinced that the consultant has adequately addressed the needs of the client/owner within acceptable time, cost and quality parameters. Only then will the Project Manager allow the consultant to refine the concept in the Design Development phase. 2, record 3, English, - Conceptual%20Design%20Report
