CCME(Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment) honoured Canadian organizations showing leadership in pollution prevention at the tenth annual Pollution Prevention Awards held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 14, 2006. Five winners were presented with a unique, specially designed plaque using natural and recycled materials, at a gala ceremony. One organization was given an honourable mention.
