Let’s clarify one thing right off the bat, er, club. The term “driving range” is a misnomer. Teaching professionals refer to those large patches of terrain as “practice ranges” for good reason. In fact, most pros will advise you to use your driver sparingly on the range, as you would on the course. Whatever you call them, these ranges are ideal for practicing with just about every club in your bag. Many have putting greens and sand bunkers, as well as areas specifically for chipping and pitching. 1, record 13, English, - practice%20range

The game of horseball is played in a normal riding area with elevated goals at opposing ends. Two teams of four players attempt to score by shooting the ball into the opponent's goal. A brilliant element of the game of horseball is that each team must make at least three passes between three different members before it is qualified to score. Therefore all team members must collaborate for each event of offense and defense, which is why the game is referred to as “collective” or “inclusive” amongst all of its players. No player is ever much removed from the action. Because of the goals, the mandatory passing game, and the quick pace of action, horseball is often compared to basketball. 3, record 14, English, - horseball

Renovation... an intensive program of deep drilling was initiated to reach the gravel blanket located 18 to 20 inches beneath the surface. As the drills slowly permeated the turf profile, excavated soil was deposited on the surface. Each of the holes was then backfilled with clean sand to establish stable drainage channels between the surface and the gravel blanket. Excess sand and excavated soil were removed and the area brushed clean of all debris. An aggressive program of sand topdressing has augmented the sand blanket initially placed at the surface when sand-based sod was planted immediately following the Rutgers game in late September, 1993. The current system thus includes : 1. a porous sand blanket at the surface; 2. a highly porous gravel blanket located 18 to 20 inches below the surface; 3. multiple porous sand channels connecting the sand and gravel blankets. 2, record 23, English, - gravel%20blanket

A form of softball for men and women with 10 players on the defensive team : 3 in the field, 3 on the bases, a pitcher, a shortstop, a catcher and a roover who is allowed to move anywhere though he usually plays in the area where the infield and the outfield meet. The game gets its name from the fact that the ball must be thrown 6 feet in the air by the pitcher; any ball so pitched without an attempt to strike it puts the batter out automatically. If pitched less than 6 feet high, it is declared "ball" by the referee; it takes 4 balls for a base on balls. Stolen bases on passed balls or otherwise are not permitted; the ball must be struck before a player on a base is allowed to run. The home plate is 18 inches by 4 feet. 2, record 27, English, - blooperball

1, record 27, French, - blooperball
