The Petrogen® Liquid Fuel Cutting System is a solid, proven technology that brings you unequally safety, performance, and cost savings. Petrogen makes cuts that are impossible with any other torch, incredibly fast and clean with less airborne contaminants. Petrogen cuts up to 14 inches of steel. The powerful flame easily cuts through layers and across air gaps, through rust, paint, even concrete-backed steel without popping. Petrogen fuel is regular liquid gasoline, kept liquid from the tank to the tip. The Petrogen System is much safer than compressed gas systems such as acetylene or propane. Fuel line backflash is impossible! Many built-in safety features provide the safest cutting torch made. [Text followed by an illustration. ] 2, record 6, English, - Petrogen%C2%AE%20torch

2, record 7, French, - chimio%2Dembolisation

The plasma-keyhole method is a welding process where the gas flow is restricted through a reduction of the gas orifice. This increases the gas velocity and the arc temperature. Severe constriction of the gas flow produces a cutting arc, which is utilised in plasma arc cutting(PAC). The plasma arc blows a hole through the joint of the plate. Behind the hole the molten metal flows together filling the hole, due to the gravity forces, surface tension and the gas pressure from the shielding gas. 1, record 19, English, - plasma%2Dkeyhole%20welding%20process

British Gas and Tracto-Technik jointly developed the technology called pipe bursting, which "allows the replacement of cast iron, clay, cement, and other fracturable pipes with a new main of the same or larger size for water, sewer, or production lines. "... Pipe bursting involves digging an entry pit at one end of the failed pipe and running a pneumatic pipe-bursting tool and an expander into the pipe through the pit opening. The pipe-bursting tool is a soil displacement hammer fitted with cutting blades. A steel line, attached to the head of the tool and to a winch on the other end of the pipe, keeps the line tight and helps guide the tool. As the pipe burster hammers through old pipe, the expander moves broken fragments and dirt out of the way to make room for new pipe, which is attached to the back of the tool and follows it into the void. After the new pipe is in place, crews connect service laterals at specified locations. 2, record 20, English, - bursting%20tool

A steel line, attached to the head of the tool and to a winch on the other end of the pipe, keeps the line tight and helps guide the tools. As the pipe burster hammers through old pipe, the expander moves broken fragments and dirt out of the way to make room for new pipe, which is attached to the back of the tool and follows it into the void. After the new pipe is in place, crews connect service laterals at specified locations. 2, record 21, English, - pipe%20bursting

Record number: 21, Textual support number: 2 CONT
4, record 21, French, - %C3%A9clatement

Oxygen-fuel gas cutting process uses an oxygen-fuel gas flame to heat metal.(...) It is possible to burn(rapidly oxidize) iron or steel. The oxy-fuel gas flame raises the temperature of the metal to a cherry red color(1472 to 1832 F.). Then, a high-pressure jet of oxygen is directed at the metal, causing metal to burn(oxidize) and blow away very rapidly.(...) Several different fuel gases may be used in this process. 4, record 29, English, - oxyfuel%20flame
