A flammable gas is a gas which can ignite readily and burn rapidly or explosively.... Flammable gases can be extremely hazardous in the workplace, for example : If the gas accumulates so that its lower explosive limit(LEL) is reached and if there is a source of ignition, an explosion may occur. If there is inadequate ventilation, flammable gases can travel a considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back to the source of the gas. 3, record 2, English, - flammable%20gas

An oil burner is defined by the National Oil Fuel Institute as a mechanical device for preparing fuel oil to combine with air under controlled conditions for combustion. Two methods(atomization and vaporization) are used for the preparation of fuel oil for the combustion process. Air for combustion is supplied by natural or mechanical draft. Ignition is generally accomplished by an electric spark, gas pilot flame, or oil pilot flame. Burners of different types operate with luminous or nonluminous flame. Operation may be continuous, intermittent, modulating, or high-low flame. 4, record 5, English, - oil%20burner

Combustion Override Split Production Horizontal Well Process(COSH). The main feature of this process, developed by the Alberta Research Council(ARC), is implementation of gravity drainage using a basal horizontal well in a combustion process. The configuration of different wells is critical to the operation of this process. A linear configuration of vertical air injection wells is drilled and completed in the upper portion of the reservoir. A horizontal oil production well is completed in the bottom of the reservoir, aligned and positioned beneath the vertical injection wells. The reservoir is prepared for ignition and combustion is initiated at each of the injection wells. A hot fluid-transmissive chamber is formed around each of the injection wells as combustion proceeds. Combustion gas communication is established with the gas production wells. Heated oil and water, produced by the combustion front in each hot chamber, drains under the effect of gravity and is brought to the surface through the horizontal production well. 3, record 6, English, - combustion%20override%20split%20production%20horizontal%20well%20process

Record number: 6, Textual support number: 1 OBS
2, record 6, French, - combustion%20in%20situ%20avec%20puits%20de%20production%20horizontal

Interruptible igniters, are small igniters applied to gas and oil burners to ignite the fuel input to the burner under prescribed light-off conditions. The igniter shall be cut off at the end of the time trial for ignition of the main burner. 1, record 13, French, - g%C3%A9n%C3%A9rateur%20d%27air%20chaud%20%C3%A0%20condensation%20aliment%C3%A9%20au%20gaz
