Gas-cooled reactor systems. The high-temperature reactor(HTR) uses particle fuel able to withstand high temperatures, allowing for very high burn-up and graphite as a moderator. Helium is used as a coolant, allowing an output temperature of more than 850°C. 1, record 1, English, - particle%20fuel

1, record 1, French, - combustible%20%C3%A0%20particules

AGR [Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor] fuel uses the same manufacturing process as for LWR [light water reactor] fuel. The fuel pellets(which are about the size of a thimble) are stacked inside a fuel tube. Once the tubes are sealed and pressurised, they are put together in the graphite 'sleeve’ to form the AGR fuel assembly. 1, record 2, English, - AGR%20fuel
