Record number: 7, Textual support number: 2 OBS
Chemical looping combustion(CLC) is a novel method for facilitating CO2 separation from flue gases. The process is composed of two fluidized reactors, an air and a fuel reactor, as shown in Figure 1. 2. The fuel is introduced to the fuel reactor in a gaseous form where it reacts with an oxygen carrier to CO2 and H2O. The reduced oxygen carrier is transported to the air reactor, where it is oxidized back to its original state by air. As for the oxy-fuel combustion process, Nox formation is eliminated as oxygen is supplied to the combustor in the form of a metal oxide without any nitrogen present, also giving pure co2 out. The principle of the CLC process is the same as for the oxy-fuel process, where pure oxygen is supplied to the combustor, and it has the same absorption-regeneration nature of post-combustion. 4, record 7, English, - Ca%2Dbased%20looping%20cycle

3, record 7, French, - cycle%20d%27ana%C3%A9rocombustion%20%C3%A0%20base%20de%20Ca

Carbonation occurs when carbon dioxide is dissolved in water or an aqueous solution. This process is generally represented by the following reaction, where water and gaseous carbon dioxide react to form a dilute solution of carbonic acid. [H2O + CO2=H2CO3] This process yields the "frizz", to carbonated water, the head to beer, and the cork pop and bubbles to champagne and sparkling wine. Carbonation is used to improve both the taste and "texture" of the carbonated consumable. Carbonation is sometimes used for reasons other than consumption, to lower the pH(raise the hydrogen ion concentration) of a water solution... 2, record 16, English, - carbonation

2, record 17, English, - chemical%20looping%20combustion

Record number: 17, Textual support number: 2 OBS

The ultrasonic-aided leachate treatment process involves enhanced chemical treatment of acidic soil leachate solutions. As the richer ores of gold (and other metals) are depleted, it is necessary for mining companies to focus on low-grade refractory gold-bearing ores in which the gold is encapsulated in the crystal structure of a sulphide matrix (typically pyrite). Low-level radioactive wastes can exist in solid liquid or gaseous form. Any solid waste may give off a radioactive gas, as in the case of Radium 226 which gives off Radon 222 when it undergoes alpha decay. Water flowing through a solid waste may leach out soluble radioactive material(e. g., the acid leachates of some uranium mine tailings). As well, solid fine particulates of radioactive waste may take the form of a dust and be carried away on the wind, as in the case in the erosion of mine tailings. Equally, non-radioactive dust particles in the atmosphere can be contaminated with radon daughters as a result of electrostatic attraction. The conversion of these nitrates to gaseous nitrogen implies a further denitrification stage. There are several possible ways of achieving this :... changing the state of the mixed liquor from aerobiosis to anaerobiosis before clarification, passing it through a shallow lagoon where algae develop, using this form of nitrogen as a metabolite. 1, record 51, English, - denitrification%20stage

Once the [gaseous] disk had formed, Laplace suggested, it would in turn contract. In so doing it would periodically leave smaller rings or "zones of vapors" which would become detached from the main disk by ceasing to contract. Each of these detached rings would then coalesce into a planet by forming a little eddy of its own; and the rotation of this eddy would in turn form smaller gaseous rings from which the new planet's satellites would form. 2, record 53, English, - Kant%2DLaplace%20hypothesis

1, record 53, French, - hypoth%C3%A8se%20de%20Laplace
