Nominal gross domestic product is gross domestic product(GDP) evaluated at current market prices. GDP is the monetary value of all the goods and services produced in a country. The gross domestic product at market prices was used to express health expenditures as a percentage of GDP. However, the total for Canada was used instead of the total of all provinces.
