Danish [and] Scottish seining methods are used to catch species of groundfish such as flounder and cod. Both methods use similar nets and series of ropes spread out in a pear-shaped form along the ocean floor. The action of the ropes stirs up a mud cloud and herds the fish into the path of the net. In Danish seining, the vessel remains in a fixed position while the gear is hauled along the bottom. In Scottish seining, the net and ropes are towed along the ocean floor while they are closing. Demersal fisheries use a wide variety of fishing methods to catch fish and shellfish on or close to the sea bed. Demersal fisheries are defined by the type of fishing activity, the gear used and the varieties of fish and shellfish [that] are caught. Catches from demersal fisheries make up a large proportion of the marine harvest used for human consumption and are the most valuable component of fisheries on continental shelves throughout the world. 4, record 2, English, - bottom%20fishery

Tree climbing consists of ascending and moving around in the canopy of trees. Tree climbing is safe when done with the proper training and equipment. Use of a rope, helmet, and harness are the minimum requirements to ensure the safety of the climber. Other equipment can also be used depending on the experience and skill of the tree climber. Some tree climbers take special hammocks called "Treeboats" with them into the tree canopies where they can enjoy a picnic or nap, or spend the night. Tree climbing is an "on rope" activity that employs a mixture of techniques and gear derived from rock climbers, cave explorers, loggers and professional arborists. Modern tree climbing techniques are a derivative of these other activities.... The main techniques used are free climbing, self-belayed climbing with a doubled rope system, Single Rope Technique, lead climbing, and spiking up with climbing gaffs. 2, record 6, English, - tree%20climbing

5, record 10, French, - train%20escamotable

The left rudder would operate normally since the RH [right-hand] nosewheel steering tube assembly could still operate in the compression mode. Furthermore, in this condition, the automatic centring action of the nose gear as the aircraft lifted off would have resulted in the application of two to four degrees of left rudder deflection. This is due to the left-hand rudder centring spring taking up the slack introduced in the right-hand rudder cable by the right-hand rudder pedal being moved aft of its normal position due to the shortened length of the RH nosewheel steering tube assembly. 2, record 18, English, - centering%20spring

2, record 18, French, - ressort%20de%20centrage

The MLG [main landing gear] retracts inwards into the fuselage wheel well. Each MLG has two doors. The outboard door is rigidly attached at the strut. The inboard door operates by mechanical linkage to the strut and is held in up position by two uplock cylinders. This uplock is released when landing gear lever is placed in down position by hydraulic pressure, or by nitrogen pressure in emergency. The MLG is held, while airborne, in retracted position by hydraulic pressure in the actuator and by the inboard door mechanical uplock, if pressure drops. As the gear is extended, an internal lock in the actuator automatically locks it in fully extended positions. 4, record 19, English, - landing%20gear%20control%20lever
