The Convention on Wetlands is an intergovernmental treaty adopted on 2 February 1971 in the Iranian city of Ramsar, on the southern shore of the Caspian Sea. Thus, though nowadays the name of the Convention is usually written "Convention on Wetlands(Ramsar, Iran, 1971) ", it has come to be known popularly as the "Ramsar Convention"... The official name of the treaty-The Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat-reflects its original emphasis on the conservation and wise use of wetlands primarily to provide habitat for waterbirds. Over the years, however, the Convention has broadened its scope to cover all aspects of wetland conservation and wise use, recognizing wetlands as ecosystems that are extremely important for biodiversity conservation in general and for the well-being of human communities. For this reason, the increasingly common use of the short form of the treaty's title, the "Convention on Wetlands", is entirely appropriate. The Convention entered into force in 1975... UNESCO serves as Depositary for the Convention, but its administration has been entrusted to a secretariat known as the "Ramsar Bureau", which is housed in the headquarters of IUCN-The World Conservation Union in Gland, Switzerland, under the authority of the Conference of the Parties and the Standing Committee of the Convention 1, record 22, English, - Convention%20on%20Wetlands%20of%20International%20Importance%20especially%20as%20Waterfowl%20Habitat

1, record 22, Spanish, - Convenci%C3%B3n%20relativa%20a%20los%20Humedales%20de%20Importancia%20Internacional%2C%20especialmente%20como%20H%C3%A1bitat%20de%20Aves%20Acu%C3%A1ticas

SPPs... are contracts under which the employer, alone or in conjunction with the employee, makes contributions to provide the employee with a retirement income and other benefits(death and sometimes disability). This income and these benefits are payable under very specific circumstances. As a general rule, funds accumulated by the employee are locked-in(or "frozen") until retirement and can only be used as retirement income. SPPs are usually established by the employer, but may also be established by a union or other competent authority. Some children are either unable or unwilling to conform to accepted norms of behaviour, and if these deviations are serious or extreme or persistent, they are considered behavioural disorders. Basically, such problems fall into two categories :(1) emotional maladjustment, in which the child shows inner tensions, anxiety, neuroticism, or psychotic behaviour, and(2) social maladjustment, in which the child shows defiance and disregard for constituted authority and general antisocial behaviour. Although there is sometimes an overlap between the emotionally disturbed and the socially maladjusted, emotional disturbance basically refers to the psychological characteristics of the child, whereas social maladjustment refers to the relations of the child to society as a whole. 3, record 32, English, - socially%20maladjusted

In 1992, the town authority entrusted Guangzhou Urban Planning & Design Institute to undertake comprehensive planning of the town territory and its central area. In 1994, the general planning for the town's central area of 9 square kilometers was finished, thus a scientific basis is provided for the general arrangement of down town area in respect of roads & transport system, industrial land use, reserved agricultural land, residential & commercial buildings, commercial areas, recreational centers and cultural-medical service facilities. All construction projects must follow this general arrangement. This plan may be modified only if it is approved by the town's National Congress to be modified. Centre urbain. This term is applied to an agent who has authority to manage all the company's business within his territory; to appoint other agents, and to settle claims. A General Agent usually has charge of the company's business for a province or provinces and is sometimes referred to as a Provincial Agent or even Provncial Manager. This term should not be confused with the commonly referred to(although possibly misused) term of general agent or general insurance agent meaning an agent for general insurance(i. e. fire, automobile, casualty) as opposed to an agent for life insurance.
