Patient-reported outcome measures(PROMs) are used to assess a patient's health status at a particular point in time. PROMs are standardized, validated survey tools that assess health outcomes reported by patients, in areas such as general health and quality of life, or around specific symptoms, functional ability and physical, mental and social health. They can be completed either during an illness or while treating a health condition. 2, record 1, English, - patient%2Dreported%20outcome%20measure

Most people who have COP experience a persistent nonproductive cough and — depending on how much of the lung is affected — may have shortness of breath with exertion, a low-grade fever and a general unwell feeling. 3, record 4, English, - cryptogenic%20organizing%20pneumonia

A key notion in the Newell-Simon scheme is the production system, in which an operation will be carried out if a certain specific condition is met. Programs consist of long sequences of such production systems operating on the data base. As described by the theorists, the production system is kind of a computational stimulus-response link; so long as the stimuli(or conditions) are appropriate, the response(or production) will be executed. In the course of developing the General Problem Solver, Simon and Newell have propounded a perspective on artificial intelligence, a theory of thinking, and an agenda for future research. 5, record 5, English, - production%20system

A set of production rules (which is called a production system) can be interpreted in two distinct ways. ... The general theory of structures is based on a static calculation, which means to say that both the structure and the loads acting on it are at rest, or may simulate this condition because they act slowly. But the structure and load acting on it cannot always be deemed to be at rest, because the dynamic effect of forces may cause accelerations in it, which lead to failure. Wind and earthquakes are forces with a significant dynamic effect on bridges but it must also be borne in mind that traffic loads are moving and, in fact, the dynamic effect of these loads are taken into account via impact factors... 2, record 6, English, - traffic%20load

When evaluating a patient who has evidence of cognitive decline, a number of reversible causes need to be excluded before one can diagnose a neurodegenerative pathology. One well‐known cause that needs to be excluded is depression.... Less commonly, other psychiatric conditions, such as mania, other psychoses, and conversion disorder, can also impair cognition and produce a similar clinical picture. The Hartford loop is a special arrangement of return piping at the boiler. Its purpose is to reduce the likelihood of an insignificant quantity of water creating a low water condition that can cause damage to a steam heating boiler. It came into general use in 1919 and was primarily designed for use with heating systems having gravity wet return. In effect, it consists of two loops of pipe forming two U-tubes. The first loop is around the boiler and the second loop is composed of the drip connection, the wet return, and a short riser called the loop riser.... The use of a Hartford loop is not recommended where the condensate is returned to the boiler by a condensate pump. 2, record 18, English, - Hartford%20loop

Under the PPSA, the general rule is that the first creditor to register or take possession has priority. This rule is different from the rule that applies under the existing law. Currently, if a company created two charges in favour of two separate creditors, it is the creditor whose charge was created first that takes priority(so long as that creditor has registered within the 30-day period required by the Companies Act). The general rule under the PPSA is that first to register or take possession takes priority no matter which charge is signed first. One consequence is that creditors, such as banks, are likely to require registration of a financing statement as a condition precedent to advancing funds to a debtor. 2, record 20, English, - first%20creditor

One approach to estimating how long someone has to live is referred to as the momentum of change. If someone's condition is changing from week to week, it's a good indication that there are only weeks of life left. If there are changes from one day to another, there are likely days of life left. The cow should be in good body condition(BCS 6. 0) at calving which will result in a thrifty calf, and will increase the level of colostrum produced. This will improve general thrift of the calf throughout its early life. The growing calf should receive adequate nutrition to maintain a body condition of 5. 0-6. 0, which will result in an adequate weaning weight, but which will not result in an overly-fat heifer. Fat heifers have reduced milk production later in life and this condition should be avoided. While creep feeding is rarely ever recommended due to high cost and minimal returns, it is still done in some situations. This practice may result in excessively fat heifers and should be discouraged. The heifer needs to weigh at leat 450 lbs at 8 months to continue through the cycle and meet the target weights without needing a high level of nutrition. 1, record 32, English, - growing%20calf

The field of occupier's liability has been complicated further by an overridding distinction between an "activity duty" and an "occupancy duty", which derives from the misfeasance-nonfeasance dichotomy. If an entrant is injured by "current operations" being carried out by the occupier on the land, as opposed to a defect or danger in the condition of the land, the courts will impose the general duty to use reasonable care. This general duty is owed to all persons lawfully on the premises, but it is unclear whether it is also applicable to trespassers whose presence is known or probable. 1, record 33, English, - activity%20duty

The term antistatic refers to a condition where static generation is inhibited during contact and separation with a different material. In general, antistatic carpet is any carpet product that will generate less static electricity than standard carpet. [It] is not conductive and it is not possible to ground anti-static carpet [which] usually contains bi-component yarns. The reason for specifying antistatic carpet is to establish a space that will be free of static shocks, or zaps. Most new antistatic carpet will prevent shocks as long as the relative humidity(RH) is above 25%. Antistatic carpet should not be confused with conductive or ESD [electrostatic discharge] carpet. Pityriasis rosea. Oval or round, tannish pink or salmon colored, scaling papules and plaques appear rapidly over the trunk, neck, upper arms, and legs. Several features of this self-limited papulosquamous condition are unique. The generalized eruption is preceded by a single lesion, termed the "herald patch, "that is commonly misdiagnosed as "ringworm. "The patch can occur anywhere but often appears on the neck or lower trunk area and precedes the general rash by several days to a week. The oval patches have an unusual fine, white scale located near the border of the plaques, forming a collarette. The lesions follow skin cleavage lines, in a pattern likened to a Christmas tree. Facteur déterminant pour le collectionneur, le degré de conservation doit être rigoureusement établi. En principe, c'est toujours la plus mauvaise face qui doit être retenue pour qualifier la pièce. Because the forward price of foreign exchange is in general equal to the price expected in the future plus a risk premium, we tested the joint hypothesis known as the "speculative efficiency hypothesis" which states that :(i) markets are efficient;(ii) risk premiums are constant; and(iii) transactions costs are negligible.
