Air Officer Commanding(AOC) is a title given in the air forces of Commonwealth(and some other) nations to an air officer who holds a command appointment. Thus, an air vice marshal might be the AOC 38 Group. An air officer heading, a particularly large or important command may be called a Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief(AOC-in-C). The equivalent term for army officers is General Officer Commanding(GOC).

The Good Grievance Network(GGN) consists of all complaint resolution resources available on the Base or Wing, or in the region. At a minimum, the GGN consists of the unit CO [Commanding officer] the local DJA [Deputy Judge Advocate], Base or Wing HQ [headquarters] HR [human resources] staff, a representative from the local Dispute Resolution Centre(Base or Regional) and a member of DGCFGA [Director General Canadian Forces Grievance Authority]. The GGN assists the CO by analyzing the nature of the grievance and directing the matter into the appropriate dispute resolution route, with the informed consent of the grievor.
