The Advanced Boiling Water Reactor(ABWR) is an improved design of [a] boiling water reactor. The ABWR was designed by General Electric as their generation III reactor. One chief improvement is that the recirculation pumps and piping are contained inside the reactor pressure vessel, thus making it impossible for them to leak outside of the vessel. Also, in the event of a loss of coolant accident(LOCA), plant response has been fully automated and operator action is not required for 3 days. 1, record 28, French, - r%C3%A9serve

The general aim of plant breeders was to produce a grain that combined the hardiness, vigour, environmental tolerance and disease resistance of rye with the superior grain yield and quality characteristics of wheat. These obstacles to successful production of triticale have been gradually overcome and triticale has become a significant crop in several countries such as Poland, Germany and Australia. 3, record 40, English, - shrivelling

Drying of gases: The removal of 95-100% of the water vapor in air or other gases is frequently necessary. Gases having a dew point of -40°F are considered commercially dry. The more important reasons for the removal of water vapor from air are: (1) comfort, as in air conditioning; (2) control of the humidity of manufacturing atmospheres; (3) protection of electrical equipment against corrosion, short circuits, and electrostatic discharges; (4) requirement of dry air for the use in chemical processes where moisture present in air adversely affects the economy of the process; (5) prevention of water absorption in pneumatic conveying; and (6) as a prerequisite to liquifaction. 3, record 41, English, - dry%20air

2, record 41, French, - air%20sec

Asset Accounting is a sub-ledger accounting module in Financial Accounting, in which all business activities for fixed assets are recorded. The Asset Accounting(FI-AA) component is used for managing and supervising fixed assets with SAP R/3 System. Financial Accounting serves as a subsidiary ledger to the FI General Ledger, providing detailed information on transactions involving fixed assets. As a result of the integration system, FI-AA transfers data directly to and from other systems i. e., it is possible to post from the Materials Management(MM) component directly to FI-AA. When an asset is purchased or produced in-house, it can directly post the invoice receipt or goods receipt, or the withdrawal from the warehouse, to assets in FI-AA. At the same time, it can pass on depreciation and interest directly to Financial Accounting(FI) and Cost Accounting(CO). From the Plant Maintenance(PM) component, it can settle maintenance activities that require capitalization to assets. 1, record 44, English, - Asset%20Accounting

1, record 44, French, - Comptabilit%C3%A9%20des%20immobilisations

Landscape maintenance refers to the general upkeep of exterior site spaces, including both hard and plant materials. The initial maintenance program on a site is the contractor's responsibility. A maintenance agreement for the period of construction and after is usually included in the tender documents as part of the landscape contract. It continues usually for four to six weeks after the project is finished and includes a one-year replacement guarantee for plant material. After this period, maintenance becomes the owner's responsibility. 1, record 54, English, - landscape%20maintenance

Bulbil, used as a general term, refers to any small, bulblike offset from a parent plant. Bulbils are typically swollen with reserve food materials and may be derived from modified roots or stems or compact clusters of modified leaves. Each bulbil may produce a new plant. Bulbils may be produced above ground on flowering stems in place of flowers and where leaves join the stem. Below ground, bulbils may be formed at the tips of underground stems or roots or at the base of a bulbous parent plant. 3, record 56, English, - bulbil

The term crown as generally used in horticulture designates that part of a plant at the surface of the ground from which new shoots are produced. In trees or shrubs with a single trunk, the crown is principally a point of location near the ground surface marking the general transition zone between stem and root. In herbaceous perennials, the crown is the part of the plant from which new shoots arise annually. The crown of herbaceous perennials consists of many branches, each being the base of the current season's stem, which originated from the base of the preceding year's branch. 3, record 58, English, - crown%20leaf

The general principles of plant community succession, applied to the species complex in the wetlands and the expected changes in the moisture regime, could be used to predict the future plant community within specified time and space boundaries. Predicting, in any rigorous sense, the effects of the resulting habitat changes on species of concern would be difficult due to the complexity of most species-habitat interactions. Furthermore, it would be unlikely that the effects of the loss of habitat on the longer-term population dynamics of such species could be determined beforehand. 1, record 59, English, - moisture%20regime
