Traditionally part of the military jargon, TTPs are a key concept in cybersecurity and describe how cyber-attackers orchestrate, execute and manage operational attacks. "Tactics" define what a cyber-attacker's goal is, and the general strategies used to gain access to an organization's systems and information(e. g., social engineering or physical infiltration) ;"techniques" explain how the cyber-attack is conducted(e. g., phishing users via email attachments) ;and "procedures" are a step-by-step orchestration of the attack, and often the best way to build an attacker's profile. 1, record 3, English, - tactics%2C%20techniques%20and%20procedures

2, record 3, French, - tactiques%2C%20techniques%20et%20proc%C3%A9dures

Qualitative and quantitative studies show that people who consult complementary practitioners usually have longstanding conditions for which conventional medicine has not provided a satisfactory solution, either because it is insufficiently effective or because it causes adverse effects. They have generally already consulted a conventional healthcare practitioner for the problem, and many continue to use the two systems concurrently. Some "pick and mix" between complementary and conventional care, claiming that there are certain problems for which their general practitioner has the best approach and others for which a complementary practitioner is more appropriate. Most find their complementary practitioners through personal recommendation. 2, record 4, English, - complementary%20practitioner

1, record 33, French, - %C3%A9quit%C3%A9

Organic management practices are a unique example of stakeholder-driven practice definition supported by market rewards. These include respecting natural systems, valuing biodiversity, supporting animal welfare, and, in particular, a common desire to reduce the use of chemicals in food production.... Explosive growth in the organic market put pressure on these voluntary programs and a federal statute was enacted in 1990 that established a uniform definition and labeling program for organic product. Radiators, convectors, and baseboard and finned tube units are types of heat-distributing devices commonly used in steam and low temperature water heating systems.... In general, these types of heat-distributing units should be placed at the points of greatest heat loss of the space.... For example, such units are commonly located under windows, along exposed walls, and at door openings.... The term "baseboard"... refers to heat-distributing units designed for installation along the bottom of walls, in place of the conventional baseboard. They may be made of cast-iron, with a substantial portion of the front face directly exposed to the room, or with a finned tube element in a sheet metal enclosure. They operate with gravity-circulated room air.... Baseboard heat-distributing units are divided into two types : radiant-convector and finned tube. 5, record 43, English, - baseboard%20heater

The Hartford loop is a special arrangement of return piping at the boiler. Its purpose is to reduce the likelihood of an insignificant quantity of water creating a low water condition that can cause damage to a steam heating boiler. It came into general use in 1919 and was primarily designed for use with heating systems having gravity wet return. In effect, it consists of two loops of pipe forming two U-tubes. The first loop is around the boiler and the second loop is composed of the drip connection, the wet return, and a short riser called the loop riser.... The use of a Hartford loop is not recommended where the condensate is returned to the boiler by a condensate pump. 2, record 44, English, - Hartford%20loop

There has been interest in applying nanogels to drug delivery systems, such as protein delivery and gene delivery. In general, chemically cross-linked nanogels are synthesized by microemulsion polymerization or a crosslinking reaction of intra-associated polymer molecules. We develop tailor-made functional nanogels to create novel nanobiomaterials(nanogel engineering) by the self-assembly of functional associating polymers as building blocks. In particular, nanogels of cholesteryl group-bearing pullulan(CHP) selectively interact with proteins as a host and are useful as artificial molecular chaperone and drug carriers such as cancer immune therapy. 3, record 49, English, - nanogel

Because of the need for flexibility in many areas of aerospace vehicle construction, it is often necessary to employ hose instead of rigid tubing for the transmission of fluids and gases under pressure. Specifications for hose to be used in aerospace vehicle systems are given in the Air Force-Navy Aeronautical Design Standard(AND) 10340. This specification covers hoses for fuel, oil, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems. Hose and hose assemblies for aircraft plumbing systems are manufactured in four different pressure categories : low-pressure, with a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi [2068 kPa] ;medium-pressure(300 to 1500 psi) [2068 to 10 342 kPa] ;high pressure(1500 to 3000 psi) [10 342 to 20 685 kPa] ;and extra-high-pressure(3000 to 6000 psi) [20 865 to 41 370 kPa]. It must be noted that the pressure ranges given above are general and that variations will be encountered in specific systems and installations. Hose assemblies are usually pressure-tested at a pressure at least twice the maximum operating pressure. The burst pressure is usually required to be at least four times the maximum operating pressure. Thus a good margin of safety is provided. 3, record 56, English, - flexible%20hose

Radiators, convectors, and baseboard and finned tube units are types of heat-distributing devices commonly used in steam and low temperature water heating systems. They supply heat through a combination of radiation and convection, and their function is to maintain the desired air temperature in the space. In general, these types of heat-distributing units should be placed at the points of greatest heat loss of the space to offset or counteract these losses. For example, such units are commonly located under windows, along exposed walls, and at door openings. 6, record 64, English, - heating%20unit

Pneumatic systems are often compared to hydraulic systems, but such comparisons can only hold true in general terms.... Control valves are... a necessary part of a typical pneumatic system.... The control valve consists of a lever with two lobes. [In the off position], a spring holds the left poppet closed so that compressed air entering the pressure port cannot flow to the brakes. [In the on position], one lobe of the lever holds the left poppet open and a spring closes the right poppet. Compressed air now flows around the opened left poppet, through a drilled passage, and into a chamber below the right poppet. Since the right poppet is closed, the high-pressure air flows out of the brake port and into the brake line to apply the brakes. To release the brakes, the control valve is returned to the off position. 3, record 69, English, - control%20valve

2, record 85, French, - Modular%20Acquisition%20Processing%20System

The Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty(or ABM Treaty) was a treaty between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the limitation of the anti-ballistic missile(ABM) systems used in defending areas against missile-delivered nuclear weapons. On May 26, 1972, the President of the United States, Richard Nixon and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Leonid Brezhnev signed the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty. The treaty was in force for thirty years, from 1972 until 2002. On June 13, 2002, six months after giving the required notice of intent, the US withdrew from the treaty. 1, record 88, English, - Antiballistic%20Missile%20Treaty

1, record 88, French, - Trait%C3%A9%20sur%20les%20missiles%20antimissiles%20balistiques

The Event Management System(EMS) will continue to be used to gather the internal and electoral district information required daily at Elections Canada to manage the delivery of an electoral event. This comprises monitoring activities against expected deadlines and statutory obligations, and measuring the effectiveness of delivery systems and processes. EMS has been in place since the 1993 general election. Since its inception, EMS has expanded. It now includes computerized aides-mémoire for returning officers and Elections Canada staff, generates reports using automated linkages to event delivery systems, and incorporates state-of-the-art presentation tools. At the next electoral event, its reporting capability will include feedback to returning officers. 2, record 100, English, - Event%20Management%20System

2, record 100, French, - Syst%C3%A8me%20de%20gestion%20des%20scrutins
