Based on data analyses from more than 390 winter wheat... and 200 corn... experiments and analyses of more than 100 N-rich strips, a generalized algorithm(for both corn and wheat) was developed to estimate the optimum N application rate based on spectral measurements. The generalized model adjusts the yield calibration curve for growth stages and better predicts corn and wheat yields.

The aim of the proposed algorithm is to extend the convolution kernel to that of the object in order to perform a "single shot" reconstruction of the encoded object. Therefore, this algorithm is a generalized convolution algorithm since it consists in a spatial bandwidth extended strategy for the reconstruction of large objects encoded in digitally recorded holograms.

A generalized clipping approach is the Cohen-Sutherland method, in which the classic clipping algorithm is broken into two steps... The "roder" determines whether a line is on, partially on, or off the screen, and the "pusher" clips it to the proper length.
