How optochemistry works.... A patient would first swallow a pill that contains a light-activated molecule—a cage—that attaches to a neurotransmitter, which regulates a neuron's activity. After the pill' s content reached the brain, a pulse of light from an endoscope, or one delivered from outside the skull, would detach the neurotransmitter, which would go on to bind to and open a channel on the cell membrane that lets ions enter. The ions would then trigger the firing of the neuron, sending an electrical impulse traveling into the cell. 1, record 4, English, - optochemistry

1, record 4, French, - optochimie

Breaking takes between 4 and 6 weeks, though longer may be required if horses have had little handling. All horses here basically go through the same breaking program, regardless of their final intended use. Your horse is tied up to the tie-up-poles, where there is minimal risk of injury if he pulls back. In the round-pen, he will be hobbled, bridled, and saddled. He will be lunged with a saddle on, carrying the bit but no reins. Next, he will de driven(long reined). This starts to develop steering on the horse, stopping and backing up. Then he will be ridden in the round-pen until he is balanced with a rider, can steer, stop and back up. Then it is outside to do the same. 1, record 12, English, - breaking

Invisible zippers are the newest type of zipper. As the name implies, they are structured differently from other zippers and are applied in a special way so that they disappear into a seam. When properly applied, neither the stitching nor the zipper teeth or coil is visible on the outside of the garment. A number of methods are available that can detect known DNA mutations e. g. Allele specific amplification/hybridisation(ASA/H), Oligonucleotide ligation assay(OLA), and mini-sequencing just to mention a few. A common drawback for all of these methods is that they only detect mutations known in advance i. e. mutations outside the small area of detection will go undetected. If the position or nature of mutations is unknown then one must define the type of information required : Screening : Is there a mutation or not? SSCP, DGGE... How many and where are they localised?
