GO SIGNAL [8 records]

Record 1 2023-12-14

English

Subject field(s)
  • Computer Mathematics
  • Computer Programs and Programming
  • Artificial Intelligence
CONT

Depth-first algorithms are based on a sequential search and go through a variable number of nodes in the search tree depending on the channel realization and the signal to noise ration(SNR).

CONT

The depth-first search algorithm operates by evaluating branches to their maximum depth, and then backtracking to follow unvisited branches.

  • Railroad Safety
  • Rail Networks
CONT

In order to avoid creating an unsafe condition, when the signal is taken "Off" for an approaching train and crank handle is also available for the operation of the points, it is necessary that the crank handle be kept in safe custody. The experience has shown that the better arrangement is to lock the crank handle by an electric lock whenever the concerned signal is taken Off so that it is not possible for anybody to use the crank handle for operation of the points. Alternatively, if crank handle is out, the signal should not be allowed to go to Off position. The phenomenon is called "reciprocal interlocking" and it is achieved by providing reciprocal interlocking arrangement by means of circuitry and the electric lock fixed on the crank handle. In all modern signalling installations this feature is a must in order to achieve safe train operation.

English

Subject field(s)
  • Telephone Metering
  • Intercoms
DEF

A form of echo suppressor that compares the signals in the go and return channels, generates a replica of the echo signal and subtracts it from the signal in the return path, thereby cancelling the echo.

CONT

It is generally agreed that echo cancellers provide better speech transmission performance than echo suppressors.

The physiological mechanisms underlying the association between a signal and a reward(or a punishment) need time(seconds, minutes and even hours) and most probably go through phases in which the neutral substrate for the memory is different.
