The natural right of a riparian owner, that is, the owner of land intersected or bounded by a natural stream, may be shortly defined as threefold : First, he has a right of user. He can use the water for certain purposes connected with his riparian land. Secondly, he has a right of flow. He is entitled to have the water come to him and go from him without obstruction. Thirdly, he has a right of purity. He is entitled to have the water come to him unpolluted.("Gale on Easements", 14th ed., 1972, p. 199) 1, record 1, English, - right%20of%20user

Elevated streams are particularly useful and effective when operated on large open-type fires. A good general rule is that you have written off the building(or portion) when you initiate elevated stream operations and you are essentially in a defensive mode. Ground crews should be advised before elevated streams go into operation. 2, record 3, English, - elevated%20stream

A flow approaching a mountain barrier will most likely go over the barrier rather than around it if the barrier is long, if the cross-barrier wind component is strong, and if the flow is unstable, near-neutral, or only weakly stable. These conditions are frequently met in the United States because the long, north-south oriented mountain ranges lie perpendicular to the prevailing westerly winds and the jet stream. Mountain barriers orientated perpendicular to the flow cause the highest accelerations across the barrier and frequently generate lee waves downwind of the obstacle as well as downslope windstorms. 1, record 5, English, - mountain%20barrier

Fixed income funds invest in debt securities like bonds, debentures and mortgages that pay regular interest, or in corporate preferred shares that pay regular dividends. The goal, typically, is to provide investors a regular income stream with low risk. Fund values will go up and down to some extent, particularly in response to changes in prevailing interest rates. 2, record 6, English, - fixed%20income%20fund

En général, ces fonds visent à procurer aux épargnants une rentrée régulière de revenu moyennant un risque faible. The solar wind particles flowing directly from the Sun toward the Earth encounter the magnetosphere much as water in a swift stream comes upon a large rock. The solar wind particles must go around the magnetosphere obstacle, but at their high speed there is no time for an orderly detour. Instead, their direction is changed abruptly in the bow shock region just outside the Sunward magnetic field. 2, record 7, English, - shock%20region
