Traditionally part of the military jargon, TTPs are a key concept in cybersecurity and describe how cyber-attackers orchestrate, execute and manage operational attacks. "Tactics" define what a cyber-attacker's goal is, and the general strategies used to gain access to an organization's systems and information(e. g., social engineering or physical infiltration) ;"techniques" explain how the cyber-attack is conducted(e. g., phishing users via email attachments) ;and "procedures" are a step-by-step orchestration of the attack, and often the best way to build an attacker's profile. 1, record 1, English, - tactics%2C%20techniques%20and%20procedures

2, record 1, French, - tactiques%2C%20techniques%20et%20proc%C3%A9dures

In August, 2007, the Settlement Workers in Schools(SWIS) program sponsored a pilot project to prepare newly arrived youth for entry to eight(8) high schools in Ontario. Called Newcomer Orientation Week or NOW, this intensive orientation initiative was piloted in six(6) high schools in Toronto, one(1) in Peel Region and one(1) in Hamilton. The NOW program was strategically positioned to occur just prior to the beginning of the school year. In NOW, former newcomer students are trained to lead the activities with the newly arrived students. The overall concept of NOW is that newcomer youth begin to feel more comfortable in the school setting and, if they run into difficulties, know how to get support-from PLs, teachers and/or SWIS workers. The overall goal of NOW is : To give newcomer youth a head start in their new school by familiarizing them with the school building and routines, linking them to students already attending the school, and orienting them to sources of help as well as the “culture” of the Ontario educational system. 1, record 9, English, - Newcomer%20Orientation%20Week

The concept of "sustainable development" was first used in the mid-1970s, to suggest a broad policy goal of integrating environmental considerations into economic decisions. In 1980, the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources(IUCN), in conjunction with UNEP [United Nations Environment Programme], the World Wildlife fund(WWF), and other organisations, published the World Conservation Strategy(WCS). In the WCS, the current and more complex implication of sustainable development emerged to imply, for example, operational linkages between resource use and sustainable yields, in light of the needs of future generations. 2, record 13, English, - World%20Conservation%20Strategy

The analytic approach involves a two-step process. First, one uses the domain theory to construct an explanation("explanation" is really used to mean "proof" of correctness of a specific solution to a problem given the axioms of the domain theory) that proves that the training example is a positive instance of the goal concept. 1, record 14, English, - explanation

It is relevant to distinguish here between two types of knowledge that we will call compiled and articulate. While articulateness is not a trait of expertise necessary for mere performance, it becomes important when the goal is to support a communication process that warrants beliefs. To some extent, the ability to warrant beliefs could even be said to define the concept of articulateness as used here. Obviously the distinction is not hard and fast, and the two terms define a spectrum of models. 1, record 16, English, - articulateness
