A major role of the Golgi apparatus is to form secretory vesicles whose limiting membranes can fuse with the plasma membrane of the cell. These vesicles function as vehicles for the transport of substances(membranes and secretory products) to the external environment of the cell.(...) Depending on cell type, secretory vesicles derived from the Golgi apparatus may contain enzymes, structural proteins, glycoproteins, lipoproteins, complex carbohydrates, polysaccharides, particles of high lipid content, or pigments. 2, record 2, English, - secretory%20vesicle

Dictyosome. 2, record 2, French, - v%C3%A9sicule%20de%20s%C3%A9cr%C3%A9tion
