The Yale Food Addiction Scale (YFAS) measures remain the most common empirical approach for operationalizing UPF addiction. ... the YFAS (YFAS 2.0) parallels the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th edition; DSM-5) approach for diagnosing SUDs [substance-use disorders]. Specifically, individuals can meet for UPF addiction by endorsing at least two of the 11 symptoms of SUDs with respect to their intake of UPFs (e.g., use despite negative consequences, persistent unsuccessful attempts to cut down, withdrawal), plus clinically significant impairment (e.g., interference with role obligations) or psychological distress. 6, record 2, English, - ultra%2Dprocessed%20food%20addiction

The most important city of the province of Quebec, but not its capital. It occupies all the Île de Montréal(or Montréal Island), the biggest island of the Hochelaga Archipelago, at the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and the Ottawa River. In 1535, Jacques Cartier visited the native village of Hochelaga on the slope of what he named "Mont Royal, "but by 1608, year of the foundation of Québec, all the Iroquoians were gone. At the same location, Ville-Marie was founded as a missionary colony by Paul de Chomedey de Maisonneuve in 1642, though it was not until the conclusion of the "Grande Paix"(peace treaty) of 1701 that the colony stopped living in a permanent state of war. The establishment became the great centre of the fur trade and a starting point for expeditions by the coureurs de bois and voyageurs of the time. Trade from the port and agriculture on the surrounding plains contributed to the development of the city. By the 1820s, its population outnumbered that of the city of Québec. A dynamic merchant class began to invest and "St. James Street, "now "la rue Saint-Jacques, "became the country's financial centre. Around 1831, large-scale immigration enabled the population of British origin to be the majority in the city but, at the time of Confederation in 1867 and after, the francophones were again in the majority, gradually making the city the centre of the French culture in America. Erected as a municipality in 1832, the city underwent a steady growth with the addition of the territories of 35 towns over the years. If Toronto grabbed the title of "Business Capital" by the end of the 20th Century, Montréal remained the "Metropolis of Canada. "In 1996, the metropolitan region grouped some 111 municipalities located on three of the islands of the Hochelaga Archipelago, Montréal Island, Jésus Island and Bizard Island, and, on the South Shore, the city of Longueuil and the seven others that were to be part of it on the 1 January 2002... 2, record 6, English, - Montr%C3%A9al

Urinary stress incontinence occurs when the urethral sphincter or pelvic muscle cannot adequately support the bladder. This allows the bladder to slip down into the pelvic cavity and place pressure on the urethra, the duct that carries urine from the bladder to outside the body. As a result, body movements, such as exercising, coughing or sneezing, can place additional pressure on the bladder causing it to leak. Although it can affect anyone, it is a common condition among women who have gone through childbirth or menopause. 3, record 30, English, - stress%20urinary%20incontinence

But that sort of eviction is not absolutely necessary in order to operate as a suspension of the rent, and the word is now used when that has been done which deprives the tenant of the enjoyment of the premises, and the rent is therefore suspended, and the right of the landlord to recover it is gone. World Animal Day is celebrated each year on 4 October. On this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned on locations all over the globe. 4 October was originally chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment. Numerous churches throughout the world observe the Sunday closest to the 4th of October with a blessing for the animals. However, World Animal Day has now gone beyond being the celebration of a Christian saint and is today observed by animal-lovers of all beliefs, nationalities and backgrounds. Animal rescue shelters hold fundraising events and open days, wildlife groups organize information displays, schools undertake animal-related project work and individuals and groups of friends or co-workers donate to animal charities or pledge to sponsor a shelter animal. 1, record 52, English, - World%20Animal%20Day

Positioned in between the spectrum of canned and dry food, the semi moist food has a moisture content of approximately 35%. Additional water will need to be supplied to your cat. It is sold in sealed packages and resembles dry food pellets. It is not as widely available as dry or canned food. Once opened, it can remain in your cat's dish for free-choice feeding but over time, it will dehydrate. Once the food is dried out, nutritional value is lost and cats usually won’t eat it because the appealing aroma is gone. Price-wise, it falls in between canned and dry food. 2, record 53, English, - semi%2Dmoist%20food

Trial by ordeal is a judicial practice by which the guilt or innocence of the accused is determined by subjecting them to a painful task. Where the Spirit Lives(1989) is a drama film about Aboriginal children getting taken from their tribes to attend residential schools. The setting is in Canada. Ashto-omi is a young Aboriginal girl taken by an Indian Agent, Taggert. Her younger brother Pita and other children are also lured into the airplane using candy canes. The two newcomers are forcefully renamed with names associated with Christianity. Ashto-Komi's name is changed to Amelia(no. 61) while Pita's is changed to Abraham(no. 67). Kathleen Gwillemberry is a new teacher to the school. Ashto-Komi gets stripped and scrubbed. Her hair is cut and scrubbed. Her hair is cut short. The old native style clothing is gone and gets replaced with uniforms. The children get a small amount of food to eat and are forced to do prayers every morning to become Christians. Ashto-Komi talks her language and gets beaten by the teacher. She did not know they were forbidden to talk their native language. Gwillemberry says they are poor children that don’t know any English after teaching her new class. Reverend Buckely replies and says "The children are like a garden, in order to maintain the beautiful flowers you need to pull all the weeds out and cut them back. Mint lustre or bloom is somewhat frosty in appearance as opposed to the mirror-like smoothness of the field of a proof. Since the lustre of a coin can vary considerably due to factors such as wear, polishing of dies or blanks, exposure to chemicals, humidity, or temperature extremes, etc., it is an important indicator of the condition or grade of a coin. The qualities of lustre are often described by such adjectives as fiery, frosty, light frost, heavy frost, satiny, flat looking, matte, semi-matte, and so on. Although normally brilliant, with time, lustre may become dull, spotted, or discoloured. Lustre is easily worn through with the slightest amount of circulation and strong chemical cleaners will destroy it. Once the mint lustre is gone it cannot be properly restored. 1, record 61, English, - lustre

Second, the word should have gone through a phase of genericization, in which it started out as a trademark or product name, but then came to mean ’any type of the same’ object. Nation building is a metaphor gone wrong. It is an ethos of justice and decent behaviour, within some framework likely to encourage more of the same. "Building" implies that free societies can be assembled from some kind of erector kit, that if you just put the structure of an institution in place, it will then function as neatly as you’d installed a new motor in a machine. The real project here-one would hope-is not to attempt the building of nations, but to set out and enforce rules of civilized conduct by which nations, and more precisely the rulers of nations, will feel compelled to abide.(Claudia Roset, "New Word Order", www. opinionjournal. com, 2003-09-24). 1, record 77, English, - nation%20building

3, record 85, French, - citification

Since 1973 industrialised countries have been undergoing a major economic crisis. In the car manufacturing industry, world production plummeted from 39 million vehicles in 1973 to less than 35 million in 1974. Many firms have started to make losses. In this general climate, one manufacturer stood out with better results-Toyota. The other firms asked themselves why this was, and discovered that this Japanese car maker had gone over to a different method of production to that which was prevalent at the time. Instead of applying the principles developed by Ford, like its competitors, Toyota has developed a particular way of organising its production which gave both higher efficiency and better profitability. Just as the innovations in the methods of production inaugurated by Ford in Detroit at the beginning of the century are known as Fordism, so the new methods of working are called Toyotism. 1, record 89, English, - toyotism

2, record 89, French, - toyotisme

Decrepitation.-Some minerals, when laid upon a hot plate, decrepitate, or fly to pieces, through the unequal expansion which overcomes the cohesion of the molecules.
