Electrical/hydraulic derricks and hoists are recommended for the lifting of boxes from the fishroom and transferring them ashore. In many instances[, ] the [fishing vessel' s] own gear is adequate and shore-based equipment unnecessary. The unloading of larger tubs may require more substantial cranage and the use of spreaders. Hoists should have good line-speed control to prevent the "jumping" of boxes and the spillage of fish. 4, record 1, English, - offloading

(cross-country skiing) Night skiing on lighted tracks is gaining here in North America... Try to get a group together to build your own little loop. String up some carnival lights, use street lights, automobile headlights, bonfires, torches, or anything that will provide some illumination. Or, once or twice a year, when there is a little powder snow on top of a good base, and the moon is full, go out night skiing. 1, record 2, English, - night%20skiing

In this text I will primarily be talking about the push and pull concepts of information. The web is(mostly) a pull medium : the user clicks links to weave an individual path through available sites and searches actively for information. A good metaphor for the web is a library where anyone can leave their own papers and books on shelves for others to pick up. Many traditional information purveyors have however been trying to implement push into webspace, since then they can also push advertising and so be able to charge sponsors. The increasing use of sponsor graphics and banners on sites with high hits is another expression of this. 2, record 3, English, - push%20and%20pull

The Babble Stage. Babies must learn how to use more than 225 muscles in their mouths and throats in order to talk. Babies make random sounds apparently because they feel good. A baby will sometimes pick up a sound and will repeat it all day long. The baby accomplishes semi-conscious control of the sounds which are characteristic of his own language as well as hundreds of others. 1, record 4, English, - babble%20stage
