Following an absence from work due to illness, injury or medical condition(or for any other reason), it is also good practice to hold a "return-to-work" meeting with the employee. This can be informal if the absence was only a few days. In cases of a long absence, several meetings to plan the return to work are advised. 2, record 1, English, - return%2Dto%2Dwork%20meeting

Let's clarify one thing right off the bat, er, club. The term “driving range” is a misnomer. Teaching professionals refer to those large patches of terrain as “practice ranges” for good reason. In fact, most pros will advise you to use your driver sparingly on the range, as you would on the course. Whatever you call them, these ranges are ideal for practicing with just about every club in your bag. In terms of treatment, scientists have for more than three decades tried to find ways to sic the immune system on cancer-a tactic termed immunotherapy or vaccine therapy. And for good reason. 3, record 13, French, - vaccination%20g%C3%A9n%C3%A9tique

The good news for the classroom trainer is that the most effective online training utilizes some form of human interaction, ranging from synchronous Web casts and chat rooms to asynchronous interaction, such as e-mail and forums. Many classroom trainers are finding that these forms of interaction are almost as fun as being face to face with the student. Waves are formed due to the friction of the wind over the water surface. The three main components for wave generation are the wind speed, it's duration and fetch.... How to recognise a swell/wave generating area. On a weather chart there are high and low pressure systems. They are separated by isobars(lines joining places of equal pressure). Buys Ballot's law states :"If you stand with your back to the wind in the northern hemisphere, the low pressure will be on your left. "From this you can deduce the wind flows anticlockwise around a low pressure system and almost parallel to the isobars. The wind near the surface actually flows at an angle of about 15 degrees to the isobars pointing in to the low. The reason for this is that friction with the surface slows the air down and it is this friction which causes waves to form. Assuming you have identified an area of closely packed isobars which are almost straight for 200 miles and the low system is not changing to quickly, you have found a good swell generating area. 3, record 25, English, - wave%20generation%20area

Long-hole blasting. This method of blasting, employing diamond drills or extension steel drills with tungsten carbide bits, is being applied increasingly to ore winning operations where conditions are suitable. The essential requirements from the practical and economic point of view are :(1) a large ore body or wide regular vein;(2) a strong country rock;(3) a good parting between the ore and the rock to avoid undue contamination of the ore. Holes to take up to 2-inch diameter cartridges may be drilled. Since the drilling of long holes is relatively expensive, high-strength, high-density gelatinous explosives are usually employed so that the maximum burden can be placed on each hole. For this reason also, the largest diameter of explosive cartridge that can be loaded into the holes should be used to obtain the greatest possible loading density. 4, record 29, English, - long%2Dhole%20blasting

The main hope for improving programming productivity in the 1970's was structured techniques. We can now survey extensive experience with the techniques advocated by Yourdon, Constantine, Gane and Sarson, Michael Jackson and others. Structured analysis as commonly practiced usually takes longer than conventional systems analysis(albeit for good reason). It is clear that much better techniques are both possible and essential as computers continue to plunge in cost. 1, record 35, English, - structured%20technique
