Les NLDCB sont le fruit d’une initiative conjointe menée par l’Agence de la santé publique du Canada (ASPC) et l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) visant à mettre à jour et à harmoniser trois documents existants de normes et lignes directrices canadiennes en matière de biosécurité pour la conception, la construction et l’exploitation d’installations où sont manipulés ou entreposés des agents pathogènes ou des toxines : 1. les «Lignes directrices en matière de biosécurité en laboratoire», 3e édition, 2004 (ASPC); 2. les «Normes sur le confinement des installations vétérinaires», 1re édition, 1996 (ACIA); 3. les «Normes de confinement pour les laboratoires, les installations vétérinaires et les salles de nécropsie qui manipulent des prions», 1re édition, 2005 (ACIA). 1, record 7, French, - Normes%20et%20lignes%20directrices%20canadiennes%20sur%20la%20bios%C3%A9curit%C3%A9%20pour%20les%20installations%20o%C3%B9%20l%27on%20manipule%20des%20agents%20pathog%C3%A8nes%20qui%20touchent%20les%20humains%20et%20les%20animaux%20terrestres%2C%20des%20prions%20et%20des%20toxines%20biologiques

Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. A project sponsored jointly by the Public Sector Service Delivery Council and the Public Sector Chief Information Officers’ Council. eContact is a multi-jurisdictional solution that will improve access to government services by connecting citizens and service agents to accurate information through a user-friendly interface. It is designed to connect citizens with the information or service they require by quickly identifying their needs and directing them to the appropriate contact. The fundamental benefits of eContact are improved service and higher citizen satisfaction. The eContact approach is different because it is a solution that integrates information across jurisdictions and uses natural language querying to address the terminology gap between governments and citizens. The system does this by using natural language processing which allows citizens to express their questions in familiar language rather than government terminology specific to a program or service. 1, record 8, English, - eContact%20%2D%20Service%20Improvement%20Initiative

1, record 8, French, - eContact%20%2D%20Initiative%20d%27am%C3%A9lioration%20des%20services

In health, agriculture, and government, the word "organophosphates" refers to a group of insecticides or nerve agents acting on the enzyme acetylcholinesterase(the pesticide group carbamates also act on this enzyme, but through a different mechanism). The term is used often to describe virtually any organic phosphorus(V)-containing compound, especially when dealing with neurotoxins... Organophosphate pesticides(as well as sarin and VX nerve gas) irreversibly inactivate acetylcholinesterase, which is essential to nerve function in insects, humans, and many other animals. Organophosphate pesticides affect this enzyme in varied ways, and thus in their potential for poisoning. 3, record 12, English, - organophosphate%20pesticide
