A social impact bond(SIB) is a contract with a public sector commissioner in which it pays for improved social outcomes. [Investment] is raised from socially interested investors. The investment capital is used to fund service providers, with government agreeing to provide a return to investors from a portion of the projected cost savings if the intervention is successful. 1, record 16, English, - social%20impact%20bond

percent, per cent, per-cent, percentage: The spellings per cent and percent are correct, though the one-word spelling is more common. As a general rule, both the number and percent are written out in full (e.g., eight percent) or the numeral is followed by the symbol (e.g., 8%). Note that there is no space between the numeral and the symbol. As a modifier, percent may be hyphenated or not with the preceding word (e.g., a ten-percent or ten-per-cent or ten percent increase). If no figure is mentioned, use percentage not percent. The nouns percent and percentage take either a singular or plural verb, depending on the subject phrase (e.g., forty percent of Canadian adults). The development of a liquid corporate bond market in Europe has also been boosted by a number of secondary factors. For example, although average yields on European government bond have risen over the last few months, they still remain close to historically low levels... This has forced investors to look elsewhere for the returns to which they are accustomed. As a result, the pool of money available for investment in credit or spread product has been growing... In addition, European governments are borrowing less then before as the consequence of their having managed to stick to the strict budget deficit criterion... Le but du programme est de racheter des obligations relativement peu liquides afin de contribuer au maintien d'un marché liquide des nouvelles émissions. Another procedure, becoming more popular with Canadian dealers, as it has with their U. S. counterparts, is to hedge their bond inventory on the futures market. The dealer lessens the price risk on his inventory by selling treasury bill futures contracts, or Government of Canada long term bond futures contracts, or Government of Canada long term bond futures, so that losses on his physical inventory will be to some extent offset by his gains on the futures markets, in the event prices decline. 3, record 43, English, - treasury%20bill%20futures%20contract

Industrial development revenue bonds are a company's use of a government's ability to issue tax-free obligations. The bonds are available at lower interest-rates than conventional types of financing(generally 1 1/2 to 3 percentage points lower), and they provide 100 percent of the financing of land, building, and equipping a facility, with the money generally available within 45 days. The ’players’ required for this type of financing are-the company, which is required, primarily, to create new jobs in the geographic area where the financing is to take place; a bank, which acts as trustee; a local development ’agency’(such as an economic development board of a community improvement corporation) ;an underwriter who specializes in municipal financing; bond counsel(lawyers) with a national reputation in municipal finance; and the government entity that will issue the bonds. 1, record 50, English, - industrial%20development%20revenue%20bond
