Beef Grading. Canadian beef is graded in two general ways : Tenderness-as indicated by youthfulness of the carcass. Grade A is the most tender, E the least. Fat level-as indicated by surface fat. 1 is the leanest, 4 the fattest. Most cuts of beef used in the food service trade grade A1, A2 or A3. The grade is most commonly indicated by the "Red Brand" ribbon-rolled down the entire beef side. Grade B shows as a blue ribbon brand. 1, record 19, English, - beef%20grading

8, record 28, French, - papier%20abrasif

Figure 6. 1 illustrates a typical open disposal trench at the Barnwell facility. The trench floor is sloped slightly and covered with a layer of sand to facilitate collection of percolating water in a French drain. A number of pipes allow any water that may collect in the French drain to be removed and analyzed. Presently waste, primarily in boxes, drums and cask liners, is stacked neatly in the trench... As the level of the waste reaches the design level, 2 m below grade, a layer of dry soil is added and allowed to filter down between the waste containers. When a trench is filled, it is covered with a cap of at least 0. 6 m of compacted native clay, followed by at least 0. 9 m of soil. The cap is graded to shed water and seeded with grass. The sump in each trench is monitored for at least 5 years and any subsidence in the cap is filled to maintain its water-shedding ability. Monitoring wells at the perimeter of the facility have not detected migration of nuclides after more than 15 years of operation. 4, record 67, English, - monitoring%20well

No cereals are known anywhere to be immune to BYDV. Tolerant cultivars can live in a compromise with the virus in that they suffer much less or no yield loss, despite being infected, compared to susceptible cultivars. Cultivars can therefore be graded as tolerant, moderately tolerant, intermediate and susceptible according to their level of BYD tolerance as judged by their yield under BYDV infection. Cereal cultivars with at least moderate tolerance to the disease are now available or will be available in the near future. 5, record 78, English, - BYDV%20tolerant

Factors influencing the filtration performance of geotextile can be classified into four categories-external conditions(hydraulic gradient and loading state) ;(bio) chemical conditions of fluent(pH, hardness(e. g. [Fe], [Mn], [Mg], [Ca]), redox potential(Eh) for iron ochre, BOD and COD of water(substrate type/concentration), osmotic pressure and dissolved oxygen) ;the properties of basement material(coefficient of uniformity(Cu), coefficient of gradation(Cc), plastic index(PI), double hydrometer ratio(DHR) for dispersive clay, particle shape and grain hardness for granular soil, compaction degree of soil and saturation degree) ;and the properties of geotextile(filtration opening size(FOS), apparent opening size(AOS), fiber density, textile bulk density(mass/area), porosity, thickness and fiber material)... screen test results clearly indicated that the height of self filtration is proportional to the constriction size(Dc) of granular filter used. Additionally, they suggested the filter opening size value should be within the range between d50 and d80 for linearly graded soil and within the flat range in gap graded soil. 2, record 80, English, - opening%20size

4, record 80, French, - ouverture%20de%20filtration

The bedding is well marked, uniform, and rhythmic... The principal material is shale or silty shale regularly interbedded with graded beds of dark sandstone(usually graywackes) varying from a few centimeters to a meter or two in thickness....
