The Family Farm Loan program from the Farm Credit Corporation(FCC) provides for a smooth, gradual transfer of farm assets from one generation to the next. The loans are not limited to family members only. Through the program, the FCC lends up to 90% of the appraised value of a property to the purchaser. The seller receives approximately half the funds on the sale and the balance in equal installments over a four-year period.

Le Prêt agricole familial offert par la Société du crédit agricole (SCA) vise à assurer le transfert graduel et sans heurt de l'exploitation agricole d'une génération à la suivante. Le programme n'est pas réservé aux membres d'une même famille. La SCA prête à l'acheteur un montant pouvant représenter jusqu'à 90 p. 100 de la valeur d'estimation de la propriété. Le vendeur reçoit environ la moitié du montant au moment de la vente et le reste, en versements égaux étalés sur une période de quatre ans.

Both in Europe(E5, E9) and in Japan(J1, J3), reinforcement and cable systems mimic conventional reinforcement and tendon anchorage details, in the form of bonds with deformed bars or twisted strands and in metallic anchorage housings for prestressing tendons. In Japan, nonmetallic cable anchorages of GFRP were installed in one of the demonstration projects(J4). To eliminate tendon failures in the anchorage, new types of filler materials in the anchor cones need to be developed to ensure a gradual force transfer with constant shear stress distribution between the composite tendons and the anchor block housing.
