Water transfer printing... is a surface decorating process with which elaborate graphics – such as wood grain, carbon fiber, camouflage, geometrical designs, etc. – are applied to a 3D [three-dimensional] product surface.... The process utilizes a water-soluble film that contains the printed patterns. The film dissolves in the water and leaves the ink on the surface. In the typical process, the item to be printed is first coated with a primer or an adhesion promoter. After this dries, a base coat paint is applied to control the hue of the pattern. For instance, wood grain prints often utilize a brown base coat, and many camouflage patterns use a neutral base. After the base coat is applied, the item is ready for decorating. The film is activated using a chemical activator. The item then is dipped into the water, and the ink wraps around it. 5, record 2, English, - hydrographics

The meal moth is attracted to out-of-condition grain and is not a problem in dry sound grain. It can also be found in stored cereals and moist flour, bran or hay. This insect thrives in damp or mouldy locations and may be present in very large numbers. The adult has a wing-speed of about 2. 5 centimetres. 2, record 4, French, - pyrale%20de%20la%20farine

An allocation by the producer in the permit book application of total assignable area to the various quota grains that would be developed in the new crop year. Prior to May 31, the producer may amend the original allocation. The assigned quota areas establish the delivery quota base for each grain to which the quotas authorized from time to time are applicable. 1, record 11, English, - assigned%20quota%20area

1, record 11, French, - superficie%20assign%C3%A9e

The tabular grains are produced by the method of injecting the silver into the gelatin. Fuji and Ilford also make tabular grain films but call them by different names. Several color films also use tabular grain technology. The effect is to raise speed without increasing granularity. Tabular grain films are also generally thin emulsion type resulting in better sharpness and resolution due to reduced scattering. 1, record 12, English, - tabular%20grain%20film

A producer may assign any part of his quota base to the delivery of a particular kind of grain. He may, if he wishes, confine his entire quota base to the delivery of wheat or barley. The number of acres assigned to each grain by an individual producer determines the quantities of that grain he is able to deliver under specific quotas to a primary elevator. 1, record 13, English, - quota%20base

1, record 13, French, - base%20de%20contingentement

The quota system achieves these objectives by controlling the quantities and kinds of grain producers may deliver at any particular time. Begun strictly as a means of sharing market opportunities during World War II when grain production exceeded available markets, the present system ties a farmer's delivery opportunities to his farm size or what is known as his quota base. This base includes land seeded to grain, oilseeds and forage, and land in fallow. 1, record 14, English, - land%20seeded%20to%20grain

1, record 14, French, - superficie%20consacr%C3%A9e%20aux%20c%C3%A9r%C3%A9ales
