OBS

Video produced in 1985 by Mobius Media Corporation, Rexdale, Ontario. This short drama is about the emotional abuse and neglect of the elderly. Locked in her room day after day, a woman who lives with her son and his family whiles away her time watching television. Except for an occasional visit from her granddaughter, she is virtually ignored. The daughter-in-law resents having to put aside her career plans to take care of her husband's mother and wants to place her in a nursing home. The granddaughter, upset about growing domestic conflict and the treatment her grandmother is receiving, implores hers parents to get professional counselling. A discussion-starter on the problem of abuse of the elderly.
