... in recent years, many different depths have been observed within the second-degree burn classification-the partial-thickness burns. E. R. Crews subdivides the second-degree classification into "superficial second-degree burns" and "deep second-degree burns. "... without infection, superficial second-degree burns will heal in approximately two weeks. Deeper second-degree burns are not usually healed within three weeks; but within 21 to 30 days the crust is separated and one may observe deep layers of skin(corium) with a pigskin appearance, in contrast to raw or granulation tissue that is observed at this time in third-degree or full-thickness burns. 1, record 1, English, - deep%20second%2Ddegree%20burn

Dry granulation converts primary powder particles into granules using the application of pressure without the intermediate use of a liquid. It therefore avoids heat-temperature combinations that might cause degradation of the product. Two pieces of equipment are necessary for dry granulation : first, a machine for compressing the dry powders into compacts or flakes, and secondly a mill for breaking up these intermediate products into granules. 2, record 16, English, - dry%20granulation

1, record 16, French, - granulation%20par%20voie%20s%C3%A8che

The methods used in the recovery of industrial enzymes. In enzyme production by fermentation, the output of product is often low. It is necessary therefore to concentrate and partially purify the product. The overall process consists of enzyme extraction, followed by concentration and drying. Techniques used in concentration include ultrafiltration, precipitation, adsorption techniques using ion exchangers, affinity columns, etc. or the use of gel filtration. 1, record 31, English, - enzyme%20recovery

1, record 31, French, - r%C3%A9cup%C3%A9ration%20de%20l%27enzyme
