A simple exposure tool(SimET) was developed to identify substances on the DSL [Domestic Substances List] considered to represent GPE [greatest potential for exposure]. This approach was based on three lines of evidence : 1) quantity in commerce in Canada; 2) number of companies involved in commercial activities in Canada; and 3) the consideration by experts of the potential for human exposure based on various use codes. 1, record 1, English, - simple%20exposure%20tool

1, record 1, French, - outil%20simple%20de%20d%C3%A9termination%20du%20risque%20d%27exposition

In order to efficiently identify substances that represent the highest priorities for screening assessment from a human health perspective, Health Canada developed and applied a Simple Exposure Tool(SimET) to the DSL [Domestic Substances List] to identify those substances that meet the criteria for GPE [greatest potential for exposure], Intermediate Potential for Exposure(IPE) or Low Potential for Exposure(LPE)... 1, record 2, English, - low%20potential%20for%20exposure
