3, record 1, French, - parc%20%C3%A9ponge

Deoxyribonuclease(DNAse) agar actually has DNA in it. Deoxyribonuclease is an exoenzyme excreted from the cell which will break the DNA down into smaller molecules. There are 2 kinds of DNAse agar that can be used. 1) The first medium has no indicator, but is does require HCl(hydrochloric acid) reagent to be added after growth has occurred on the plate. Without DNAse enzyme, the HCl precipitates out the undestroyed DNA. The rest of the agar with the remaining DNA, which binds to HCl will have turned cloudy. Around the growth area, if the bacterium has made DNAse and destroyed the DNA, there will be clear zones seen. 2) DNAse agar with the indicator methyl green can be used. In this medium, when the DNA in the medium is hydrolyzed by the bacterial DNAse enzyme, the pieces of cut DNA release from binding to methyl green, and you will see a yellowish/orange zone around the growth area. OBJECTIVE : To identify the presence of the DNAse enzyme. 3, record 2, English, - deoxyribonucleic%20acid%20agar

Tapis vert, meaning literally a "green carpet", was first coined in the garden at Versailles in 1680 where André Le Nôtre used a mown grass strip punctuated by urns and statues to divide the main axis, the Allée Royale. This became a template for other grand schemes, including George Washington's plan for the landscaping of independent America's new capital. The term tapis vert has come to embrace a wider meaning, encompassing any area of lawn cut in a regular shape. It is also used to describe areas mown at various heights to produce patterns and it is here that the lawn could enjoy a degree of reinvention, assisted by advances in technology-most mowers can be adjusted by the flick of a lever to give various cutting heights. In areas of a modest size, rotary mowers would be ideal for this purpose. 2, record 11, English, - green%20carpet

Town-Country Symbiosis in Calcutta. Historically, the city's eastward expansion halted west of a marginal zone of low lying marshlands, variously known as Dhapa, East Calcutta, or the area of the salt water lakes. Here a symbiotic, creative relationship exists between town and country. With the participation of the rural inhabitants, much of the solid trash, liquid sewage, and polluted air generated by the metropolis of over ten million inhabitants is recycled into organic nutrients, fresh water, and clean air. The system reduces urban waste, creates a daily supply of fresh fish and green vegetables for Calcutta's kitchens, and generates employment and revenue for East Calcutta's thirty-odd villages. 1, record 17, English, - town%2Dcountry%20symbiosis
