The Conservation Co-op is a four(4) storey eighty-four(84) unit apartment building, located in the Sandy Hill district of the City of Ottawa. The building is a housing cooperative where tenants as a group are committed to provide "green" alternatives in an environmentally friendly building. Each member is dedicated to environmental principles contained in the Co-op's "Code of Environmental Practice". The Conservation Co-op has some unique building features relating to energy conservation and reducing impacts on the environment, which have inspired the water reuse treatment system. All members follow certain guidelines in order to achieve the goals established by the Co-op. La Coopérative Conservation consiste en un bâtiment de quatre étages et de 84 unités situé dans le quartier de la Côte-de-Sable à Ottawa.
