Living walls or green walls are self-sufficient vertical gardens that are attached to the exterior or interior of a building. They differ from green façades(e. g. ivy walls) in that the plants root in a structural support which is fastened to the wall itself. The plants receive water and nutrients from within the vertical support instead of from the ground. 4, record 1, English, - vertical%20garden

4, record 1, French, - jardin%20vertical

The disease is caused by a late infection by the tomato mosaic virus, which usually severely affects the fruit on one or two clusters without affecting other fruit at all. The characteristic symptoms of internal browning are noticeable when the fruit is cut across near the stem end. In slightly diseased fruit only a few small brown areas may occur. External symptoms are gray or grayish brown areas that often show through the translucent skin of the green or partly ripe fruit. These appear occasionally as blotchy, ill-defined areas. In severely diseased green or ripe fruit much of the flesh tissue of the wall is brown. 2, record 2, English, - internal%20browning

2, record 2, French, - brunissement%20interne

Climatic conditions prevent the red pigment from developing in the wall tissue near the stem. The shoulders of the tomato then became deep yellow in color. Cultivars with green shoulders are more susceptible and high temperatures during the growing season aggravate this problem.
