A four member Economic Advisory Panel was set up by Health Canada to advise on the assessment, quantification and evaluation of health ancillary benefits resulting from the Greenhouse Gas(GHG) reduction measures identified by the Issue Tables and proposed in their Options Papers within the National Climate Change Process(NCCP). The Climate Change Action Fund-Public Education and Outreach Program(CCAF-PEO) funds a variety of initiatives, including Internet sites, museum displays, classroom materials, etc., to raise Canadians’ awareness of climate change and promote action in each province and territory. The CCAF-PEO program establishes a solid base for climate change awareness and action. The Fund establishes an integrated investment approach that focuses on partnerships and government leadership for action.
