CONT

The process of greenhouse gas removal(GGR) or CO2 removal(CDR) from the atmosphere is possible through negative emissions, where more CO2 is taken out than is being put into the atmosphere. Negative emissions can be achieved through a range of nature-based solutions or through man-made technologies designed to remove CO2 at scale.

  • Compartment - Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
OBS

[Duponchelia] is native to the southern Mediterranean and the Canary Islands, but in the last 20 years has been found increasingly in greenhouses in more temperate areas of northern Europe. The Canadian infestations are thought to have been introduced on imported plant material, and while they can survive happily in the greenhouse, they would not survive outside during the Canadian winter.

OBS

The moth has a broad host range and can affect crops such as begonia, gerbera, cyclamen, anthurium, kalanchoe, poinsettia, and rose as well as many other crops, including aquatic plants, corn and greenhouse vegetables such as peppers.

OBS

Title used at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

OBS

Greenhouse sprayers use hydraulic, shearing, or centrifugal forces to produce droplets. Each type of atomization can be used to produce a wide range of droplet sizes... Because the application needs of most greenhouse producers vary widely, it is difficult to say which one greenhouse sprayer is better than another sprayer.
