A lumping method for estimating the properties or the behaviour of liquid and/or vapour hydrocarbon phases from data relative to a reference set consisting of hydrocarbon mixtures in a series of thermodynamic states resulting from determined conditions of production of an underground hydrocarbon reservoir, characterized in that it comprises :-grouping each one of said hydrocarbon mixtures into at least three constituents(V, I, H), none of these constituents corresponding to a particular selection of base components or pseudo-components that would be used for a detailed compositional description of the fluids, considering that the gas phases resulting from the separation under surface conditions of each one of the hydrocarbon mixtures are mixtures from which third constituent(H) is excluded, and that the oil phases resulting from the separation under surface conditions of each one of the hydrocarbon mixtures are mixtures from which first constituent(V) is excluded,-determining by material balance the compositions of the separation products comprising, for the gaseous products, at least the first and the second constituent(V, I) in variable proportions and, for the liquid products, at least the second and the third constituent(I, H) in variable proportions, and-determining the at least three-constituent composition of each hydrocarbon mixture of the reference set by combination of the products of the separation thereof in proportion to the amounts of each separation product. 1, record 8, English, - lumping

3, record 17, French, - mode%20double%20polarisation

Polarization of the radar signal is the orientation of the electromagnetic field and is a factor in the way in which the radar signal interacts with ground objects and the resulting energy reflected back. Most radar imaging sensors are designed to transmit microwave radiation either horizontally polarized(H) or vertically polarized(V), and receive either the horizontally or vertically polarized backscattered energy. 4, record 20, English, - polarization

Polarimetric radars, like RADARDAT-2, are able to transmit and receive both horizontal and vertical polarizations. 3, record 20, French, - polarisation
Record number: 20, Textual support number: 2 CONT
4, record 20, French, - polarisation
Record number: 20, Textual support number: 3 CONT
4, record 20, French, - polarisation

Envisat's ASAR [Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar] instrument is the first permanent spaceborne radar to incorporate dual-polarisation capabilities-the instrument can transmit and receive signals in either horizontal or vertical polarisation. This Alternating Polarisation(AP) mode can improve the capability of a SAR instrument to classify different types of terrain. Because the reflective properties of a surface are dependant on the polarisation of the incoming radar signal, the use of more than one type of polarisation provides valuable extra information. The ASAR AP mode provides two simultaneous images(or channels) of the same scene taken with different radar polarisation options. Since the radar can transmit and receive in both the horizontal(H) and vertical(V) polarisations, researchers can create image pairs, with possible combinations, HH&VV... HH&HV and VV&VH. A cross-polarisation option employs a channel in which the polarisation signal transmitted by the spacecraft is received on a different polarisation, i. e. transmitted using a horizontal polarisation and received on the vertical for an HV combination, or the reverse for a VH combination. 3, record 23, English, - advanced%20synthetic%20aperture%20radar

A stationary and non-accelerating flow is described with du/dt=dv/dt=0. With this,(7-3) becomes a set of differential equations for u, v whose solution yields the Ekman spiral. However, if we are not interested in accurate solutions and consider one layer only, we can see the meaning of the friction force as first shown by C. M. Guldberg and H. Mohn in 1883. The wind profile near the earth's surface is usually convex, if represented on a graph with wind speed versus height. The wind speed increases from zero at the earth's surface to significant values near the anemometer level, and further increase of wind speed with height continues at a slower rate. In this situation, the second derivatives of u and v may be assumed proportional to-u and-v, respectively : 2, record 37, English, - anemometer%20level
