HADRONIC [2 records]

Record 1 2009-09-15

English

Subject field(s)
  • Atomic Physics
  • Nuclear Fission Reactors
CONT

The inelastic interaction is based on the assumed dominance of hadronic collisions by gluonic interactions where the two colliding nucleons are represented by the valence quarks carrying their quantum numbers plus the accompanying clouds of gluons which represent also the sea quark pairs. In the course of collision, gluonic clouds interact strongly and form strings and sub-strings according to their available energies.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Physique atomique
  • Réacteurs nucléaires de fission
CONT

Subject field(s)
  • Atomic Physics
CONT

... we discuss and speculate on the role our ideas may play in understanding the hadrons themselves, pointing out new ways to look at some characteristics of hadronic properties as well as the possible connections of our ideas with other approaches to these characteristics.

Domaine(s)
  • Physique atomique
DEF
