We are a non-government organization composed of all private woodlot owners and wood producers in York, Sunbury and Charlotte(YSC) counties in New Brunswick. We were established to market forest products harvested on 730, 000 acres of private land and to offer support and service to the 6, 600 woodlot owners and the 800 wood producers of this region. We negotiate and contract with various wood using companies to establish wood prices, volumes and delivery schedules on behalf of our members. Although the organization is involved in forest management and a program to determine long-term wood supply, we can not tell any woodlot owner whether or not they can cut, nor whom they can sell their wood to.
