A live skyline system employing a carriage, skyline, main line, and haul-back line.

OBS

On a slackline system, both main and haulback lines attach directly to the carriage; the skyline is lowered by slackening the skyline to permit the chokers to be attached to the carriage; the turn is brought to the landing by the main line; lateral movement is provided by side blocking.
