Severe anxiety symptoms present themselves in a variety of ways. Before finding out the ways that this disease manifests itself, it is important for you to have a background on the causes of severe anxiety. In general, the main sources of severe anxiety are either an unresolved emotional trauma, which leads to what is commonly known as post-traumatic stress disorder. It can also be caused by emotional underdevelopment, which leads to the incapacity to deal with stress, or it could also be rooted in physiological causes such as hormonal imbalances.

CONT

Once a ruck has formed you can only play the ball with your feet—playing the ball with your hands in a ruck is a penalty—and the offside rules are very strict. You have to join the ruck from behind—if you join from the side, that's a penalty. Rucking players try to push their opponents backwards and move the ball backwards with their feet, making it available for their teammates. Once it's out the back of the ruck, it can be picked up. The rules of the ruck favour the tackled player's team, but if the tackling team successfully push their opponents back and move the ball to their side with their feet, it's their ball. This is called a counter-ruck.

For all we know electrons and quarks are elementary particles, which means that in no experiment has there anything like a structure of these particles been seen. They appear point-like, unlike the proton, neutron, nucleus and atom that have sizes that can be measured. It is, of course, entirely possible that particles that are called elementary today shall turn out to be composite; let it be said though that they have been probed quite extensively.... The aim is to know all about them, their properties and their interactions. The idea is that from this nuclear physics, atomic physics, chemistry, in fact, the whole physical world derives. Thus particles and their interactions are the very fundamentals of nature. That is the view now. An elementary particle physicist studies primarily these elementary particles and not the larger structures such as protons, nuclei or atoms.

DNase Agar. DM132 A medium for the presumptive identification of pathogenic staphylococci by demonstration of DNase production.

CONT

Deoxyribonuclease(DNAse) agar actually has DNA in it. Deoxyribonuclease is an exoenzyme excreted from the cell which will break the DNA down into smaller molecules. There are 2 kinds of DNAse agar that can be used. 1) The first medium has no indicator, but is does require HCl(hydrochloric acid) reagent to be added after growth has occurred on the plate. Without DNAse enzyme, the HCl precipitates out the undestroyed DNA. The rest of the agar with the remaining DNA, which binds to HCl will have turned cloudy. Around the growth area, if the bacterium has made DNAse and destroyed the DNA, there will be clear zones seen. 2) DNAse agar with the indicator methyl green can be used. In this medium, when the DNA in the medium is hydrolyzed by the bacterial DNAse enzyme, the pieces of cut DNA release from binding to methyl green, and you will see a yellowish/orange zone around the growth area. OBJECTIVE : To identify the presence of the DNAse enzyme.

Assays of biochemical systems are carried out on a large scale in both industry and academia, so it is desirable to have an apparatus that allows these assays to be performed in a convenient and inexpensive fashion. Because they are relatively easy to handle and low in cost, microplates are often used for such studies. Microplates typically consist of a plurality of individual wells formed of polymeric materials. Each well includes sidewalls and a bottom so that an aliquot of a sample may be placed within each well. The wells may be arranged in relatively close proximity in a matrix pattern, allowing samples to be studied individually or as a group. Common sizes for microplates include matrices having dimensions of 4x6(24 wells) or 8x12(96 wells), although larger microplates are also used that may include matrices of hundreds or even thousands of wells.

The new birth distribution model should be used to refit the complete time series of pup production in order to incorporate it in future assessments. These changes are due to a slowing in the rate of increase in pup production, using a different assessment model, and a new male : female sex ratio.

DEF

An important city or the airport of such a city that handles an average of 200 arrivals and departures a day for a given airline.

OBS

Airlines concentrate their activities on one or several hubs by drawing passengers in from smaller centres by way of narrow-bodied aircraft and having them all merge onto larger-capacity aircraft serving major trunk routes, thereby maximizing passenger loads and offering more on-line connections to more places than would be possible with non-stop point-to-point service.

OBS

Since the term "hub" tends to be overused in commercial aviation by airlines eager to promote their services in a highly competitive market, confusion may reign when this term is improperly used as a synonym for "gateway. "Before the "hub-and-spoke" system was conceived by airline economists, the term "gateway" was the only term used to signify a destination from which travel itineraries could either start or end. Strictly speaking, a gateway is a large city with a major airport servicing many international centres. For example, Delta Air Lines considers Honolulu a gateway because of its frequent, daily wide-bodied service into and out of the city. These flights may eventually connect with flights offered by associated or affiliated airlines. However, since Delta does not have authority to fly beyond Hawaii, it cannot consider Honolulu a hub airport, since the concept of a hub implies traffic towards as well as beyond a major centre.

Ray effects. An artefact related to the method of discrete ordinates, known as the “ray effect, ” is illustrated … For a two-dimensional case, which is easier to represent, we have considered the problem of a point source in a purely absorbent medium. The arrows represent the directions of the discrete ordinates, and the squares represent the meshing of the spatial discretisation. Because neutrons are obliged to travel along the discrete directions, we note that only the shaded mesh elements will “see” a certain neutron flux, since the others cannot receive any neutrons. The resulting lines are clearly visible on the diagram. In practical cases, the artefact is never so clear, since the sources are spread out and there is scattering, but it can still be identified. The only way to improve this situation is to refine the angular meshing.

OBS

A rounders is made when a player touches all bases safely in the game of rounders; it is the equivalent of a run in baseball.

CONT

Rounders is an English game. It is often played as a casual game with a stick and a ball, but it has a proper set of rules. It is played 9-a-side, and each side has two innings. The batsmen use a wooden bat called a stick and try to score rounders. The bowler bowls with a smooth underarm action from a distance of 24 1/2 feet(7. 5 m). The four bases are posts 3 ft. 11 in.(1. 2 m) high. The batsman tries to hit the ball and then run around the outside of the posts to the fourth post in order to score a rounder. To score, you have to reach the fourth post on your own hit. If you stop at a post, you may run home when a teammate hits the ball, but you do not score. You join the end of the batting line. You can be out if the ball is caught, or if a fielder touches you or the post with the ball. When all the batsmen are out, the innings are over.

The XB-25E was a standard production modified for anti-icing research. Each row of cylinders exhausted through a separate exchanger, one ported outboard and one inboard of each nacelle. Ram air from the lower cowling duct was routed underneath the engine to a split duct, each side of which was directed to one of the heat exchangers. Air admitted to these heat exchangers was directed through a series of gates that allowed diversion of heated air either to the anti-icing system or out the exhaust. A complex system of ducting led the hot air to the outer wing leading edges and also into the fuselage and to the leading edges of the tail. It was intended that the temperature of the hot air would be sufficiently high that ice on the wing leading edges surfaces would be vaporized rather than melted, which would have prevented water from flowing aft and then freezing again on flaps and ailerons.

A tool used by the rockclimbers to pound in pitons, pulling out pitons, testing old fixed pitons, placing copperheads, or placing bolts. It must have a handle which is both strong and able to damp the vibration from a blow.

CONT

Swinging a hammer while you are climbing up a rock can be exhausting. The hammer will start to feel much heavier than it did on the ground. Consequently, you should buy a hammer that is light enough to easily swing, even after you have pounded in a hundred pitons. Yet the hammer cannot be too light: it needs weight to give it enough force. Light-weight climbers find a good hammer head weight is 17-20 ounces. The handle should add no more than 8 ounces. Bigger climbers may want a more substantial hammer: 24-26 ounce hammer head will be heavy enough.

The Stewart platform consists of two plates connected by six mobile and extensible legs. The lower or base plate is immobile. The upper or mobile plate has six degrees of freedom, three rotational and three translational. The platform is highly stable and easy to control. The platform's six legs each have two parts, an upper and a lower leg, with a piston-like cylindrical DoF between each pair of parts. The legs are connected to the base plate and the top plate by universal joints at each end of each leg.(These universals are not just sets of abstract DoFs. Each also contains a spider-like body, while also having two DoFs.) The upper part of each leg can slide into and out of the lower leg, allowing each leg to be varied in length. The position and orientation of the mobile platform(top plate) varies depending on the lengths to which the six legs are separately adjusted. Once the top is connected to the legs, the entire Stewart platform assembly has 36 DoFs. Only six DoFs are independent, the same as the top plate would have if it were disconnected. You can think of these independent DoFs as the six adjustable leg lengths or as equivalent to the six DoFs of the mobile plate.

Climax Avalanche.... The distinguishing characteristic of this type of avalanche is that it contains a large proportion of old snow and is caused by conditions that have developed over a period of time--at least one month and possibly an entire season.
