Increasingly, organized crime syndicates have been turning to the "rip-on/rip-off" concealment method which involves the exploitation of shipping containers to traffic illicit drugs around the world. As cargo moves from the country of origin to the country of destination, insiders at each port(such as corrupt port workers) tamper with legal shipments. The key to their success depends on access to the location of a specific container, insider knowledge of the port environment and the ability to coordinate insider threats at both ends of the transport supply chain. 1, record 9, English, - rip%2Don%2Frip%2Doff%20concealment%20method

Permeability of cells, its nature and measurement from the point of view of mathematical biophysics.... In spite of the tremendous importance of cell permeability for several branches of cell biology, and in spite of the circumstance that numerous experiments have in the past decades contributed a very large array of facts to our knowledge in this field, a mathematical biophysicist still feels rather uncomfortable when confronted with the different contributions to the problem. Perhaps the most shocking thing in the whole situation is the following. In spite of a large amount of observation and of more or less quantitative measurements, we hardly can find anywhere in the literature an accepted standard unit for the quantity which is referred to as permeability. 1, record 15, English, - mathematical%20biophysicist

For example, we have found mixing two organic reducing agents, such as henna and fructose, gives a strong indigo vat. These vats give the best results if they are made the day before dyeing.... Remember to cover your vat when not in use. These organic vats were originally developed by Michel Garcia, a botanist and dye chemist with a deep knowledge of how colour behaves on the molecular level. With the evolution of digital technologies over the years, solutions to record, store, and organize a lifetime of information and knowledge have become possible... However, the amount of information available to be stored and processed today is difficult to analyze and retrieve. To overcome this problem, a wide range of research fields can be explored, such as image and information retrieval, knowledge extraction, image understanding, sentiment analysis, and data mining just to name a few, which provide solutions to organize, process, and retrieve personal data. These personal data are also named as lifelogs and can be used as surrogate memory within a lifelogging system capable of organizing and managing these lifelogs... Therefore, the extraction of relevant information from personal lifelogs can be used to improve the quality of everyday life for people with memory problems or even used as a digital diary. 1, record 27, English, - lifelog

CSU 89 was created as the result of the fusion of CSU 8 and CSU 9. The two groups have different clients and still hold their own separate meetings. Part of Architectural and Engineering Services/Property and Facilities Management, Real Property Services. "On April 1, 1996, RPS formally implemented a new organizational model based on Client Service Units(CSUs) and Centres of Expertise(COEs). The CSUs are a dedicated organizational unit through which services are provided to a singular client or a portfolio of clients. The CSUs are supported by COEs which act as stewards of skills and knowledge in RPS business lines and program management. COEs manage a resource pool that may dedicate people on a full time basis to a particular CSU or provide services from ’home base’ to a number of CSUs. The CSUs are revenue centres and the COEs are cost centres. The NCA plays a national role and as such, the CSUs and COEs in the NCA are called National Client Service Units(NSCUs) and National Centres of Expertise(NCOEs). In addition to the provision of operational services to the NCA, the NCOEs formulate policy, establish national product standards, develop new/enhanced products and services for delivery to the CSUs and oversee their implementation. The NCOEs provide functional direction to Regional COEs in support of Real Property Services nationally. The NCSUs provide a focal point for national clients and furnish functional guidance to Regional CSUs. " 1, record 29, English, - Client%20Service%20Unit%2089

The Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association is a plaintiff-oriented organization dedicated to obtaining legal redress for those who have suffered injury or injustice, and to preserving the rights of the injured to full and fair compensation.... APTLA speaks with one voice on matters of concern to plaintiff-oriented lawyers and their clients. APTLA was formed with three fundamental purposes in mind : to form a network of like thinking trial lawyers who would share among its members their wealth of knowledge and experiences; to work to preserve innocent victims’ rights to tort recovery and to directly oppose tort recovery restrictions and work to correct the erosion of rights around the region; and, to establish first class skill-sharpening legal education programs which are inspirational, highly relevant, and impart to plaintiff trial lawyers skills and information directly related to their practices. 3, record 71, English, - Atlantic%20Provinces%20Trial%20Lawyers%20Association

Typical for much of the processing industry is that it is raw-material based and energy-and capital-intensive with plants often located outside metropolitan areas. It is also dependent on effective infrastructure and good transportation systems, by both land and sea. Although the processing industry manufactures products to a large extent for other manufacturing companies, an increasing amount of products are going directly to end users. Two decades of culture-independent studies have confirmed that microbial communities represent the most complex and concentrated pool of phylogenetic diversity on the planet. There remains a need for innovative molecular tools that can further our knowledge of microbial diversity and its functional implications. We present the method and application of serial analysis of ribosomal sequence tags(SARST) as a novel tool for elucidating complex microbial communities, such as those found in soils and sediments. Serial analysis of ribosomal sequence tags uses a series of enzymatic reactions to amplify and ligate ribosomal sequence tags(RSTs) from bacterial small subunit rRNA gene(SSU rDNA) V1-regions into concatemers that are cloned and sequenced. 2, record 78, English, - serial%20analysis%20of%20ribosomal%20sequence%20tags

Les tests portent sur la lecture, la culture mathématique et la culture scientifique et se présentent sous la forme d’un questionnaire de fond. Pour chaque cycle, un sujet est privilégié par rapport aux autres.
