... in 1894, the countries of Europe agreed to synchronize their watches(this means that they show the same time), and to use a unified indication of time. Since then, in continental Europe, with a few exceptions, you no longer have to correct your watch when you pass from one country to another; they all use the same time, which is referred to as Central European Time(CET).... During recent years, it has been decided to shift the time during the summer period. The buckwheat flower has no petals-the sexual parts, the ovary, three styles and eight stamens being enclosed in the petallike sepas. Four of the anthers bend out but turn their pollen inward. The other four turn their pollen outward(Knuth 1909, pp. 341-342). Some plants have flowers, referred to as the "thrum" type, with short styles and long filaments so the stamens extend above the styles. Other flowers, referred to as "pin" types, have long styles and short filaments so the stigma is avobe the anthers. Occasionally, the styles and stamens are at the same height. The long stamens and filaments are fully 3 mm; the shorter ones, about 2 mm. Although each plant bears flowers of only one form, the seeds from either form will produce plants having the dimorphic forms in about equal numbers. The thress styles lead to a single ovary with one ovule, so a flower can produce only one seed, which is about one-quarter inch long. 2, record 10, English, - microstylous

2, record 12, French, - vis%20Maillefer

A trimetric projection is an axonometric projection of an object so placed that no two axes make equal angles with the plane of projection. In other words, each of the three axes and the lines parallel to them, respectively, have different ratios of foreshortening when projected to the plane of projection. 2, record 14, English, - trimetric%20projection

There can be no hope of sound economic development and efficient allocation of funds if certain institutions are granted fiscal privileges that have been refused to banks, or if some institutions are allowed to participate in the payment system on an equal footing with banks, but without having to bear the cost of maintaining unproductive reserves with the central bank. 2, record 15, English, - unproductive%20reserves

2, record 15, French, - r%C3%A9serves%20st%C3%A9riles
