DEF

Ricardo’s theory that specialization and free trade will benefit all trading parties, even those that may be absolutely more efficient producers.

OBS

A person or country is said to have a comparative advantage in producing a good if it is relatively more efficient than a trading partner at doing so. In other words, they have a lower opportunity cost.

  • Économie nationale et internationale
  • Commerce extérieur
CONT

OBS

The Deutsches Studentenwerk-DSW-is the voluntary national association of all Studentenwerk organisations in Germany(organisations for student affairs). These organisations perform public responsibilities related to the economic, social, health-care and cultural support and promotion of students at German higher education institutions. Whereas, in Anglo-Saxon countries, these responsibilities are performed by departments which form an integral part of the respective university or college, the Studentenwerk organisations in Germany are completely autonomous and fully independent institutions which cooperate closely with the higher education institutions which they serve. Many Studentenwerk organisations are simultaneously responsible for several higher education institutions and, in some cases, for institutions at various locations. They contribute substantially to the realisation of equal opportunity. In collaboration with their higher education institutions and their towns, the Studentenwerk organisations contribute towards improving the framework conditions for higher education study and in so doing also have an important role in structuring the higher education living environment.
