The inclusion of OTS into most craft is relatively seamless. The system works by detecting two coinciding occurrences, the abrupt release of the throttle and a full turn to port or starboard. Electronic sensors note the two situations, and respond by increasing RPM [revolutions per minute] just enough to once again push some water through the jet nozzle. That small blast of propulsion is just enough to start the craft turning in the direction the driver has turned the handlebars, hopefully allowing the craft to begin an evasive maneuver and avoid the object in the craft's path.

Today all hot air balloon burners have one thing in common. They use liquid propane as their fuel source. When using liquid propane the burner has to serve a dual purpose. If you compare the shape of the Avian burner coils to other manufacturers, you’ll notice it has a larger circular radius with few 90 degree bends in its preheat coils. The reason we design our burner coil this way is to utilize a very basic principle of fuel flow. "The fewer the restrictions to flow, such as tight bends in tubing, in the complete burner system, the greater the pressure will be when it is released at the burner orifices, giving a higher BTU [British thermal unit] output. "

British Columbia and Alberta agreed to participate in the federal referendum, but Quebec opted to conduct its own separate vote.(For that reason, Quebeckers "temporarily" living outside the province could have two votes, since they were enumerated to the voters’ list based on federal rules, but people relatively new to Quebec could not vote at all because they had not established residency.) The Accord had to be approved not only by a majority of voters nationally, but also by a majority of voters in each province. If it failed in just one province, the accord would not pass.

Waves are formed due to the friction of the wind over the water surface. The three main components for wave generation are the wind speed, it's duration and fetch.... How to recognise a swell/wave generating area. On a weather chart there are high and low pressure systems. They are separated by isobars(lines joining places of equal pressure). Buys Ballot's law states :"If you stand with your back to the wind in the northern hemisphere, the low pressure will be on your left. "From this you can deduce the wind flows anticlockwise around a low pressure system and almost parallel to the isobars. The wind near the surface actually flows at an angle of about 15 degrees to the isobars pointing in to the low. The reason for this is that friction with the surface slows the air down and it is this friction which causes waves to form. Assuming you have identified an area of closely packed isobars which are almost straight for 200 miles and the low system is not changing to quickly, you have found a good swell generating area.

World wheat area has stabilized at just over 228 million hectares. Yield per hectare has increased markedly in many countries over the past 25 years. For the United States, yield has increased by almost 60% and in China it has more than doubled. These increases are in distinct contrast to what is seen in a few other areas of the world where yields remain low. Improves soil and water management, fertilizer use, pest control, improved varieties, better choice of land, power machinery and other technological improvements have been major factors in increased yield. In recent years, yields in most countries have levelled off. In contrast, yields in India, Mexico, Pakistan and some other developing countries continue to rise. There is reason to believe that yields can be raised in nearly all countries by using modern agronomic practices based on agricultural research.

Au cours des dernières années, les rendements se sont stabilisés dans la plupart des pays. Toutefois, dans des pays comme l'Inde, le Mexique, le Pakistan et d'autres pays en voie de développement, ils continuent de croître. Il y a lieu de croire que l'on peut augmenter les rendements dans presque tous les pays en recouvrant aux méthodes agronomiques modernes fondées sur la recherche agricole.

A mixing device in which a jet of gas is used to entrain primary air at a rate proportional to the gas flow rate.

An inspirator mixer, does not require a blower but does require high pressure gas,(can be dangerous) and is not very economical or efficient. The tip or nozzle is usually always a flame retention type tip. The reason this burner requires high pressure gas is that the gas needs to be moving at a high rate of speed in order to induce enough air for proper combustion. It is usually used for propane and in a situation where no electricity is available. If you have high pressure gas it is recommended that you use a regulator and switch to an aspirator mixer type system.
