Record 2 1998-03-19

English

Subject field(s)
  • Harvesting Equipment (Agriculture)
  • Farm Equipment
CONT

Hay tedders are occasionally used by farmers to turn and fluff up windrows of hay to speed drying. Development of the side-delivery rake, much faster than the tedder, tended to make the latter obsolete. Side-delivery rakes move hay into a well-formed windrow from which it is usually baled by a pickup baler.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Machines de récolte (Agriculture)
  • Matériel agricole
DEF
