The "epoch of reionization" is a period in the history of the universe that likely arose as a result of the arrival of the first stars and galaxies. Prior to this, the universe was dark, suffused with a dense, obscuring fog of primordial gas. [History of Inuit Art :] Historical Overview of Epochs... People have been living in the Yukon region for almost 30 000 years and their history can be separated into several epochs : Pre-Dorset, Dorset, Thule, Historic and Contemporary.... The Historical Period[. ] This period is marked by several occurrences : the demise of Thule culture, a climatic change wherein weather was increasingly cold, the disappearance of the whales and the arrival of the white man in the 16th century. Around 1800, the various carvings, dolls, and toys were being traded with the whalers, sailors and explorers who were making increasingly frequent visits in the area. Trade art often was more detailed and exquisite than non-trade art of the time. By the early twentieth century, trade art had lost the magico-religious element and some areas even produced European objects such as Roman Catholic figurines, cigarette boxes, and cribbage boards. Increasingly, Inuit art forms were suited toward Europeans. 1, record 11, English, - Historical%20Period

2, record 17, French, - Pal%C3%A9olithique%20moyen

A Duma is any of various representative assemblies in modern Russia and Russian history. The State Duma in the Russian Empire and Russian Federation corresponds to the lower house of the parliament. It is also the term for a council to early Russian rulers(Boyar Duma), as well as for city councils in Imperial Russia(Municipal dumas), and city and regional legislative bodies in the Russian Federation. The term comes from the Russian word(dumat), "to think" or "to consider". Boyar Duma was an advisory council to the grand princes and tsars of Muscovy. The Duma was discontinued by Peter the Great, who transferred its functions to the Governing Senate in 1721. However, the Duma would be re-introduced later in Russian history by Tsar Nicholas II, in the pre-Revolutionary period(1905), with the aid of his many advisors such as Pyotr Stolypin, amongst others. 1, record 19, English, - Duma

1, record 19, French, - Douma

The history of Swedish from the Common Scandinavian period(600-1050) until c. 1225 is known chiefly from numerous runic inscription. Radical changes took place in the language, especially in the sound system, during the 14th and 15th centuries. ... [European Community] experience has demonstrated the limitations of negative integration. The history of the EC after 1985 is the history of the creation of a much broader policy capacity at the Community level, or "positive integration". The EC was pushed in this direction by the threat of breakdown, which would have forfeited the gains of the period from 1958 to the mid-1980s.
