In connecting straight(tangent) sections of roadway with a horizontal curve, several options are available. The most obvious of these is the simple circular curve, which is just a curve with a single, constant radius. Other options include reverse curves, compound curves, and spiral curves. Reverse curves generally consist of two consecutive curves that turn in opposite directions. They are used to shift the alignment of a highway laterally. The curves used are usually circular and have equal radii. 4, record 1, English, - reverse%20curve

Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Diffuse solar irradiance is a measure of the rate of incoming solar energy on a horizontal plane at the Earth's surface resulting from scattering of the Sun's beam due to atmospheric constituents. Diffuse solar irradiance is measured by a pyranometer, with its glass dome shaded from the Sun's beam. The shading is accomplished either by an occulting disc or a shading arm attached to a solar tracker. The angle subtended by the shading disc of the diffuse pyranometer should be the same as the field of view of the pyrheliometer. It is important that the dome of the pyranometer is always fully shaded from the Sun's beam to ensure accuracy of measurement, and should be checked for correct alignment on a regular basis. 4, record 5, English, - pyranometer

Conventional airborne gravimeters are essentially one-axis instruments which determine the magnitude of gravity by using a highly accurate accelerometer in flight to measure the magnitude of gravity along the local vertical. Although horizontal accelerometers are used on the platform, they are generally of poorer accuracy and are only suitable for supporting the alignment process. They cannot give the direction of the vertical with comparable accuracy. Thus, the term scalar gravimetry is used in this case. This is different with airborne gravity systems based on the principle of measuring the specific force vector by a three-axes inertial system and the aircraft acceleration vector by differential GPS. In this case, the three accelerometers of the inertial system are of the same accuracy and the three acceleration components of the aircraft show only small differences in accuracy due to the geometry of the GPS constellation. Thus, three components of each vector can be estimated with high accuracy and the full gravity disturbance vector can be obtained by differencing the specific force and the aircraft acceleration vector. 2, record 19, English, - specific%20force%20vector

Centerline or alignment stakes(hub stakes) are placed on the centerline of a road or airfield to indicate its alignment, location, and direction. They are the first stakes placed and are located accurately because they are used as reference points in locating the remaining stakes. Centerline stakes are usually placed at 30 M intervals.
